Chapter 71: Godfather

It is Saturday, June twelfth, in the afternoon and Lily and Victor are going to have lunch with Hank, in the kitchen. Lily and Victor are getting ready for lunch with Hank. Victor gets ready in the bathroom and takes a shower while Lily gets ready in the closet. Lily struggles to attach the back of her bra, she decides to wait for Victor to help her with her bra. Lily continues to get ready until Victor comes out of the bathroom. Not long after Lily struggles with her bra, Victor comes out of the bathroom and is fully dressed.

Victor grabs his phone and checks any notifications he got on his phone.

Lily says "Victor?"

Victor hears Lily call out his name and he says "Yes?"

Lily says "Can you come in here please?"

Victor says "Sure."

Victor puts his phone away and walks into the closet. He sees Lily, with her back facing him and wearing nothing, but pants.

Lily says "Can you help me with my bra please?"

Victor says "Of course."

Lily says "Great. Just attach the back of my bra for me."

Victor attaches the back of Lily's bra together and he says "You are good to go."

Lily says "Thanks."

Victor says "You're welcome."

Lily says "I'm going to finish getting ready."

Victor says "Alright."

Victor leaves the closet and let's Lily finish up getting ready. Victor decides to refill Daisy's food bowl and water bowl for Lily. Not long after Victor helps Lily with her bra, Lily comes out of the closet and is fully dressed.

Victor looks at Lily and says "Hey, I already refilled Daisy's food bowl and water bowl for you."

Lily says "Thank you."

Victor says "You're welcome."

Lily says "What time is it?"

Victor looks at his watch and says "It's 12:50. Why?"

Lily says "I told my dad that we would have lunch at one."

Victor says "Well, we better make our way to the kitchen then."

Lily and Victor leave their room and walk down the stairs. They both make their way to the kitchen and both of them see Hank, with his back towards Lily and Hank.

Lily says "Hey dad."

Hank turns around to Lily and Victor and Hank says "Hi flower."

Lily and Hank hug each other and they both pull apart.

Victor says "Hey Hank."

Hank says "Hello Victor."

Lily says "So, who is hungry?"

Hank says "I am."

Victor says "Me too."

Lily says "Alright."

Hank and Victor sit down at he table while Lily goes to the fridge.

Hank says "So, flower. What is for lunch?"

Lily says "Well, I made us all a big bowl of house salad."

Hank says "O...Sounds good."

Lily says "Thanks."

Lily grabs the big bowl of house salad and grabs three small bowls. Lily sets the big bowl between Hank and Victor and she gives Hank, Victor, and herself a small bowl.

Lily says "Do you guys want something to drink?"

Hank says "Water for me please."

Victor says "Water for me too, please."

Lily says "Alright."

Lily grabs three glasses from the one of the cabinets and grabs the pitcher of water out of the fridge. She pours the water in all three glasses and puts the pitcher of water back in the fridge. Lily gives Hank, Victor, and herself a glass of water. Lily grabs three knives and three forks and gives Hank, Victor, and herself a knife and a fork. Lily grabs a wooden spoon and a wooden fork and puts them in the big bowl. Lily sits down, at the table, next to Victor.

Lily says "Alright, let's dig in."

Lily  goes first, she grabs the wooden spoon and wooden fork and uses them to put some house salad in her small bowl. Hank goes after Lily, he grabs the wooden spoon and wooden fork and uses them to put some house salad in his small bowl. Victor goes last, he grabs the wooden spoon and wooden fork and uses them to put some house salad in his small bowl.

Lily says "So, dad. Victor and I have been discussing on who would look after our child if we die."

Hank has a confusing look on his face and he says "Okay?"

Lily says "And we decided that we want you to be the godfather to our child. Is that okay?"

Hank smiles and says "Of course that's okay. I would love to be your child's godfather."

Lily smiles and says "I knew you would be okay with it."

Lily, Victor, and Hank continue to eat their lunch and talk to one another too. Once all three of them finish eating their lunch, they continue to talk to one another.

Hank says "So, have you two decided on any names yet?"

Victor says "We decided on a few names for a boy and a girl."

Hank says "Well, that's good. Are you two going to wait to know the gender of the baby when the baby comes?"

Lily says "Actually, Vanessa and I have been discussing about a baby shower and might do a gender reveal."

Hank says "That sounds nice."

Lily says "Yeah, Vanessa and I are going to discuss more about the baby shower next month, after my ultrasound."

Hank says "That's good."

Lily says "Yep."

Hank says "I can't wait for the baby shower."

All three of them continue to take to one another until the time was almost three. Lily wants to take a nap before it's dinner time and Lily tells her dad that she will see him later. Lily and Victor leave the kitchen and go up the stairs. Lily and Victor are at their room and they both go in their room. Lily takes her shoes off and she puts her shoes in front of her night stand. Lily gets on the bed and she lays down and takes a nap on the bed.
