Chapter 33: Christmas Break

It is Friday in the morning  and some of the students, at the mansion, are being picked up by their parents, to go to their homes for Christmas break. While some of the students are being taken to their homes, only two of the students stayed at the mansion for Christmas break. The two students that are staying at the mansion for Christmas break are Rogue and Russell. Charles and all the teachers say good-bye to the students, that are leaving to go home for Christmas break. Lily and Victor go to their room and change into more comfortable clothes. Victor changes in the closet while Lily changes in the bathroom. Victor comes out of the closet and looks at his phone.

Victor hears the bathroom door open and turns his head and he sees Lily walking out of the bathroom and close the bathroom door.

(Lily's Outfit)

Victor says "Hey Lily."

Lily says "Yes Victor?"

Victor says "Charles wants everyone in his office."

Lily says "Okay. Why does Charles wants everyone to go to his office."

Victor says "I don't know."

Lily says "Alright."

Lily and Victor leave their room and walk to Charles's office. They walk in Charles's office and sees everyone is here. Lily sits down next to her father, Hank, while Victor stays standing next to Lily.

Charles says "So, I thought that this year for Christmas we could do secret Santa."

Storm says "I like it." And everyone else agrees too.

Jean says "When are we opening the secret Santa gifts?"

Charles says "I was thinking we can open the secret Santa gifts on Christmas eve."

Vanessa says "How and when do we get to choice to be someone's secret Santa?"

Charles brings out a bowl with strips of paper with names on it and says "Right now."

Charles goes first by puttting his hand in the bowl and picks a strip of paper with a name on it.

Charles says "Once you have picked a strip of paper with a name on it, you are dismissed from the meeting and leave my office. And also, don't tell anyone who you got to be their secret Santa because on Christmas eve, we are going to try and guess who your secret Santa is."

Everyone goes at one at a time to put their hand in the bowl and pick a strip of paper with a name on it and leave Charles's office. Lily and Victor got their strip of paper with a name on it and go back to their room.

Victor closes the door and says "So Lily."

Lily says "So Victor."

Victor says "Who did you get to be someone's secret Santa?"

Lily says "I'm not telling you."

Victor says "What? Why not?"

Lily says "Because Charles told us to not tell anyone and that we are going to try and guess our secret Santa on Christmas eve."

Victor says "Come on, no one is going to know that you told me who you picked to be their secret Santa."

Lily says "It's still a no Victor."

Victor says "Okay, how about this. If you tell me who you picked, I will tell you who I picked."

Lily says "Let me think. Uh...It is still a no."

Victor says "Oh man."

Lily laughs and says "Well look, Vanessa and I are going to be in the kitchen making hot chocolate. You are more than welcome to come in the kitchen and make hot chocolate with us."

Victor says "Okay."

Lily leaves the room and goes to the kitchen and she sees Vanessa, leaning on the kitchen counter.

Vanessa turns her head and sees Lily and  Vanessa says "Hey Lily."

Lily says "Hey Vanessa."

Lily walks towards Vanessa and Vanessa says "So, are you excited about Christmas?"

Lily says "Very excited."

Vanessa says "That is good."

Lily says "Yeah. What about you? Are you excited about Christmas?"

Vanessa says "Yeah, especially the secret Santa thing we are doing for Christmas."

Lily says "Me too."

Vanessa says "Yeah. But right after Wade and I left Charles's office, Wade immediately asked me who I picked to be someone's secret Santa and I told him that I can't because we aren't allowed to tell anyone who we picked."

Lily says "Victor did the same thing to me. Victor asked me who did I get and I said to him that I'm not telling him. Then he asked me why and I said that I can't tell him who I picked because Charles told us to not tell anyone and that everyone is going to try and guess their secret Santa. Victor tried to convince me that no one will know that I told him who I picked."

Vanessa says "So, what did you say next?"

Lily says "I said that it's still a no, but Victor still tried to convince me to tell him who I picked by him telling me who he picked and I still said that it's still a no."

Vanessa says "Oh my gosh."

Lily says "Yeah."

Vanessa says "I have a pretty good feeling that Wade and Victor are going to annoy us with this secret Santa thing by asking us who did we picked."

Lily says "Yep."

Vanessa says "So, I'm not asking who did you picked. But, do you like the person you picked to be their secret Santa?"

Lily says "Oh yeah."

Vanessa says "Well that's good."

Lily says "Do you like the person you picked to be their secret Santa?"

Vanessa says "Very much."

Lily says "That's good."

Vanessa says "Do you know what gift you are going to give to him or her?"

Lily says "I have a gift in mind that I think that they will like very much."

Vanessa says "Awesome."

Lily says "Do you know what gift you are going to give to him or her?"

Vanessa says "Yep. I know what gift I am going to give to them."

Lily says "Good."

Lily and Vanessa continue to talk about the secret Santa stuff and a little bit of Christmas while they make their hot chocolate.
