Transformers Prime Love of two medics

Chapter 3

Knockout growled as he was hiding behind some rocks while the humans were oh so close. He had to run again when he nearly got hit near his spark. Plus Miko begged him to move on.

Miko hung up her phone but knew that were would get help, one way or another. They had to help them, bulkhead wouldn't let any harm come to her. But she didn't want them to hurt Knockout either.

"Knockout wake up!" She gasped as Knockout started to fall sideways.

Miko tapped his face many times without getting a response from him. She saw mech coming their way and backed up to his neck. That's when Knockout weakly came back.

"Get away from her" he coughed.

Just as the men were gonna fire the laser gun again. Ratchet came and snatched it out of their hands. Crushing the weapon. Glaring down at them they dashed off.

Others tried to fight him off but Ratchet managed to destroy the other laser guns, and then optimus came through and forced them to retreat.

Ratchet suddenly rushed over and saw Knockout barely awake, and Miko huddled up to his neck. He held out his servos to the medic to show he wasn't going to hurt them.

"Knockout it what happened?!" Ratchet asked as he checked the mech over.

"....humans...kidnapped her..soundwave must've known and told Megatron a lie..sent me to check it out, I found her. She begged me to get her out, so I did...I don't really know why but I believed her when she said she wouldn't let you hurt me" Knockout said.

"Ok ok....calm down, you'll be fine. We will take you with us so I can fix you up. Optimus is that alright?" Ratchet asked.

"Yes, Knockout you did a very brave and noble thing by rescuing and keeping Miko safe." Optimus said.

"....yeah well...she didn't deserve to be there" Knockout said going silent again.

"Knockout, Knockout!" Ratchet then picked him up, seeing Miko grip the mechs neck cables to stay close to him.

"Miko you have to go to optimus, the energon Knockout is losing could harm you" Ratchet said.

"I DONT CARE! He saved me, kept me safe...I wanna stay as close as I can" Miko whimpered.

"It's my fault he got so hurt, he's like this because I begged for his help" she added.

"Maybe, but he also protected you all on his own. And I'm sure he would be happy to know you care so much about his well being" Optimus said.

(Base)

Everyone was on edge. Bulkhead wanted to take Miko and keep her away from the mech, but Ratchet told him to leave her. He watched as she pet the white faceplates and whispered to him.

Jack and Raf both seemed concerned but still weary of him. They all watched Miko sit curled up by Knockouts face. Holding her knees to her chest.

Optimus walked over and handed the girl a blanket. She thanked him and covered herself up a bit. And watched optimus them cover Knockout as Ratchet instructed him to.

"Hea stable...should recover in time. When he wakes up is all on him, and when he does NOONE is to touch him!" Ratchet said.

"Why is that again?" Bulkhead asked.

"Because he found Miko, he saved her and he alone protected her when he could have simply left her" Ratchet said.

"I find it hard to believe he did it all because she asked him, what if he used her to gain some trust?" Arcee asked.

"I doubt he would, you didn't see the look on his face, you didn't see how he let her cower in fear into him. We did" Ratchet frowned, looking sadly at the Unconscious mech.

Miko looked up at him and smiled. She rested her small head on knockouts cheek but then crawled to his neck again. Cuddling up to him. Everyone was slightly shocked and scared. Shocked she was being so clingy to him, and scared for they didn't know how he would react when he woke up.

(Time skip - next day)

Miko remained curled up to Knockouts neck. Sleeping soundly. Ratchet came out and smiled, he fixed her blanket by recovering the girl carefully. And then surprised himself when he cupped Knockouts cheek.

"You are something you know that?" Ratchet whispered softly before going to the terminal.

Everyone else soon came out of their rooms and saw Knockout still out, and Miko still sleeping. As they all talked, they heard a groan and saw Knockout stir. He opened his optics and looked around.

"Where...Primus those humans.." Knockout frowned as he tried to move but froze.

He felt something by his neck. He brought his servo up to his neck and felt a small body. He quickly took hold of the body and sat up the best he could without shaking the human.

"Miko?...was she there the whole time?" Knockout asked looking at Ratchet.

"That she was, never once did she leave your side. She slept there the whole night, want me to take her?" Ratchet asked.

"....No..she's fine" Knockout smiled as he lauded back down and put her on his chest plates.

"Alright...but if you want me to move her let me know" Ratchet smiled.

"She has to move anyway! She has school" bulkhead frowned.

"Then I will take her, optimus please watch over knockout while I'm gone, again NOONE is to touch him" Ratchet stated as he he picked Miko up and took her to school.
