As soon as the bell echoed through the school, countless teenagers eagerly rushed out of the classrooms and poured into the hallways. The once silent halls instantly filled up with loud sounds of opening lockers, the squeaking of sneakers against the marble floor and the basic loud chatter between individuals.

For some students, they were just getting out of the classroom for a simple restroom or drink break, only to return once again. But for most, it was the best time of the day; lunch.

But of course, with Garfield's terrible, unavoidable luck, he just happened to be one of the few stuck in another forty-five minute long lecture. Yippie.

He just got out of trigonometry class, too. Trigonometry. Just hearing the word itself made his head spin.

He just got his homework back from that class--a 68%. And it was a test grade, so it probably really, really brought his overall grade in that class down. Lord knows he needs to get his grade up in the class, the end of the grading period was almost here.

And everyone knows that the end of the grading period meant finals. And finals meant if you don't pass the class, you are redoing the class. And if you are stuck at school redoing the class, it meant you probably aren't out fighting crime.

And that also meant Robin would have his head.

Who knew that high school could be so complicated? He honestly didn't know what he would do at this point...he was stuck and fresh out of ideas.

After trekking through masses of jabbering students, the blonde found himself standing in front of his large, metal blue box. The harsh fluorescent light glared from the front, exposing every fault. The uneven splotches of dull blue metal peeked through the peeling grey paint and proved to be very unsightly just like the other thousand lockers up and down the hallways.

His lock was broken, and the once black numbers are now so faded they are unreadable. Warped black plastic surrounded the protruding lock and the white number plate had been forcibly removed from the former owner. The number - A-628-, the only sign that differentiated this locker from the rows of others, was scrawled in blue ballpoint pen.

Well, there was no point of complaining about it now, it was already permanently assigned to him. And even if he requested to get a new one, he was positive that he'd be turned down almost instantaneously. Browning had a way of finding out everything that was anything that had to do with him; Garfield Mark Logan, and turning it for the worse.

Garfield took the broken lock off and tugged on his locker, ready to put his books away and just get the next class over with already.

But of course, it refused to comply.

Garfield groaned, jerking the handle up and backwards. The hinges squeaked and turned slightly, but ultimately decided to remain locked tight.

Cursing multiple vividly colored profanities underneath his breath, he gripped the handle tightly and used all his might to wrench the door open, giving it a few more harsh tugs before stumbling back in defeat.

"Come on!" The blonde whined.

Quickly feeling himself growing frustrated, he gripped the handle underneath once more tugging it forwards multiple times. It made loud noises, protesting against his every attempt to open it. Up, down, left right, horizontal, everything. The damn thing wouldn't budge.
