It was dawn in Jump City. The sunlight was just peeking up over the bay, shining it's warm rays into the OPs room of Titans Tower. Normally at this time, one would find the crime-fighting group of crime-fighters sitting around hanging out.
You would see Raven, cross legged and floating, in front of the main window as she quietly mediated, preparing herself for whatever the day had in store for her.
Then, if you looked towards the kitchen, you would see the innocent red haired alien, Starfire, cooking some breakfast for the team. Proceeding every few minutes or so to take a sip from her yellow mustard bottle, then going back and continuing her work.
Also, you would see the Titan's fearless leader, Robin, sitting at the nearby grey table. Every so often, sneaking a peek at his obvious crush or love or-what ever you would like to call it-Starfire cooking in the kitchen.
He would sit there staring, with a ghost of a smile on his lips just imagining what it would be like if, (and when--he just has a feeling) in a few more years to come, they'd be married-Star cooking in the kitchen, and him reading the paper like always.
Quietly going back to sipping his black coffee, he then enjoys the latest issue of newspaper that the city has to offer, making sure he's up to date with Jump City's latest crime.
Lastly, if you looked to the far end of the room, you would see a certain green changeling fiercely battling it out with the half robot, in the newest battle ship- action game.
Yet, there was no one there.
There was nothing and no one around, the kitchen was empty, and it was quiet as can be. No signs of life anywhere. Of course, with the exception of a certain Alien pet--Silkie taking a nap on the abandoned, grey couch.
This is because the Titans were out facing the toughest challenge anyone has ever faced before.
No one would ever want to go through the torture that this group had to go through right then;
Highschool.

I run through the halls trying to get to my next class on time. My sneakers squeak repeatedly and it echoes through the empty halls.
Random pieces of papers flew out of the thick green binder I was holding onto, but I payed no attention to that. There were bigger things on my mind at the moment, like for example; if late one more time, I'll be dead!
I weave my way through the small groups of straggling teens in the hallways, also trying to get to their next classes and take a sharp left turn to the next hall.
'Room 207-American History'
There it is; old man Browning's history class.
*10:58 am*
Shit.
One glance at the clock and I burst with speed, my sneakers squeaking on the tan hallway floors even more rapidly, my papers flying uncontrollably and my blonde hair flapping in my face. My blue collared shirt--a fucking size to small not to mention--clung tightly to my chest and arms, and were accompanied with brown short khakis.
"Dude, wait!" I call out, making eye contact with the teacher standing outside of the classroom. He frowns as a response, and continues to lift his head, glances at the time then looks back at me and grins.
"Late again, Mr. Logan? You know that this is the last time-"
I my feet skit to a halt, and stomp on the ground loudly, interrupting his sentence. I slide into the classroom right before the bell rings and right when his glare hits me.
