The Watchers has arrived outside the fog. "Prepare the torches!" Gerald ordered. Darwin warned Gerald, "My Lord, this is very risky. We might—" "stay here or fight for our freedom? Choose, Darwin," Gerald asked Darwin. Sigzer told Gerald that the torches are ready. "Good, we'll engage," said Gerald. When they entered the fog. They saw a red glowing eyes moving towards them. They tried casting magic, but it didn't work. "This fog is an anti-magic spell. Our only exit is to fight that thing," said Gerald. Sigzer respond, "We'll end up losing men, My Lord." "Leave this one to me," Gerald answered; "Sigzer, do me a favour...". Then, the Fox Guardian showed itself and attacked Gerald. However, Gerald dodged it's claw. He drawn his sword and fought the Fox Guardian.
Meanwhile, the soldiers kept going, leading by Sigzer and Darwin. When they made it out from the fog, they saw an empty village. The soldiers search the village. "Soldiers! Find them!" Darwin ordered. Afterwards, the soldiers who searched the houses disappeared. "Sigzer, some of the soldiers were missing," said Darwin. Then, they saw Catlass standing alone, holding a torch. Darwin was pissed, "That man! Shoot him!" The soldiers aimed their arrows on Catlass. Catlass drawn his sword and swings it randomly. Darwin ordered them to shoot, but the arrows shot backwards, hitting the soldiers on their face. The soldier reported, "General Darwin, our archers are dead." "All of them?! Crap!" Darwin said; "What is this man?!"

They heard an explosion coming from the fog, the soldiers were terrified. Darwin shouts, "Surrender! Or we will kill you!" They waited, but Catlass didn't answer. Darwin repeats, "Surrender or we--" Gerald stopped Darwin, as he is holding Fox Guardian's head, saying, "This piece of rock can't defeat me. What else you want me to fight, Catlass Satsujin?" Catlass smiled, "Took you too long to defeat that, Gerald Mendez," Catlass replied. Gerald whispers to Darwin, "Find the Princess." "Aye," Darwin answered. Then, Gerald shouts, "Watchers! Attack that man with all your strength!" He ordered. Catlass summons the Spear of Leonardo and stabbed it on the ground. Catlass charges towards the empire, but Gerald blocked his attack. Everyone came out and fought the empire. Catlass and Gerald were fighting, as the ground below them were sinking. Catlass tried to hit Gerald with his sword, but Gerald were dodging everything and tried to stab Catlass. Catlass tried to dodge, however, Gerald's attack hit him and made a scratch.—Maria felt a pain on her left arm. "Your Greatness, are you okay?" Roxanne asked. Kylie takes a look at her arm. There, she sees the ring was glowing. "Your ring. It's glowing," Kylie said to Maria. Maria was confused.—"You've gotten faster than our last fight," Catlass said. Gerald answered, "This strength will bring you suffer." "Hmm. Took you long enough, though," said Catlass. Gerald was pissed, he once again attack Catlass. Catlass deflected Gerald's attack and punch Gerald on the face. Gerald threw by a few meters away from Catlass. Catlass took the spear and jump to kill Gerald, however, Gerald roll sideways and successfully dodged Catlass' attack. Gerald stood up and quickly kick Catlass. Catlass blocked, Gerald drawn his dagger and threw it directly to Catlass. He was hit by it, Gerald ran towards Catlass, and Gerald kicked the dagger on Catlass, stabbed on his chest. Catlass fell down.—Kylie saw Maria, hurting, "What's happening to you, Your Greatness?!" Maria hold her upper-right chest tightly.—Catlass stood up and removed the dagger from his upper-right chest. He healed himself so quick. Catlass smiled, saying, "Is that the best you've got? It's too weak for a leader, like you." Catlass threw the dagger back and teleports into it, he punched Gerald. Gerald used a spell to vanish, Catlass swings his sword and spikes quickly risen on the ground; Gerald was caught by it. Catlass saw him, he flew towards Gerald. Gerald quickly made a shock wave to destroy the spikes around him. Gerald moves so fast, he attempted to stab Catlass again, but Catlass deflected Gerald's attack. Catlass swings back.

Meanwhile, the empire found the cave. Darwin ordered his men, "Find the Princess. If these people interfere, kill them." Then, Orenchi and Yuna appeared, "Sorry to hold you there, but this is your stop," said Orenchi. A soldier pointed his sword to Orenchi, saying, "You gonna move, old man?" Orenchi sighed, he slapped the sword of the soldier, the soldier's arms broke. Yuna killed the soldiers in just a second. Darwin was pissed, "Kill them!" He ordered. Orenchi took a deep breath and blew it, releasing towards the soldiers. The wind made them fall. Yuna wields her bow, she charges three arrows. She end up hitting three soldiers on empire's frontline. But the Empire still get through, Kylie and Roxanne fought with the others. Then, a soldier ran towards Fiona and Helda, the soldier swings his sword to them, but Fiona blocked the soldier's shot using the dagger that Hiz gave to her. The soldier kicked Fiona away, Helda quickly ran towards Fiona. The soldier attempted to kill them. However, Fiona called Hiz. Hiz teleported into the dagger and killed the soldier that tries to kill his family. "You okay?" He asked. Fiona respond, "Yes, we are fine." Hiz nodded. He ran towards the Empire soldiers and kill them. Maria joined them to defend the people. She heard a voice, saying, "Point me to them." Maria clench her fist and ran towards the empire, the ring gleamed.
