Chan somewhat hesitantly shakes the boys hand. Changbin still having his stupid smug smile on as he pops his candy back in.
Their hands touching and gripping tightly that it sent electric shocks to their bodies. But they thought less of it.
Chan only saw him as an enemy now. And Changbin saw him as a new challenger.
Their hands let go of each other. And Chan leaned back onto his desk, sitting on it and crossing his arms over his chest.
Changbin happily taking the seat that was in front of Chan and looking up at him.
"Well Changbin." Chan starts, emphasizing the boys name.
"I really have no clue what secret you're talking about." He shrugs as he finishes his sentence.
Changbin leans back in the chair and crosses his leg, arms resting casually on the arm rest.
His left hand grabbing the lollipops stick and pulling it out once again.
"Don't play dumb, Chan."
He then pulls out his phone, tapping on the screen and scrolling through it.
"Or should I say, All time Champion." He hands his phone to the class President.
Chan grabs it and tries to conceal his look of shock.
A photo was displayed. It was from last night.
Chan by his car, his brother and friends around him as Felix was handing him his winnings.
He hands the phone back and slightly glares down at the boy.
Changbin smirks as he puts his phone away.
"What do you want?" Chan asks. His presidents voice now long gone and his normal tone in play.
Changbin stands up from the chair and was a few inches close to Chan.
"I challenge you to a race."
——
Chan slams his lunch tray on the table. Gaining the attention of his friends. He was furious. Outraged.
"What's eating you?" Minho asks.
Chan sits down next to his brother, ready to explain everything that had happened earlier.
"Some kid named Seo Changbin, challenged me to a race." He says softly, making sure to not catch anyone's attention.
"Wait, here? At school?" Jisung asks.
Chan nods. "In my office. At first he told me that he knew my secret. But I played dumb."
Chan stabs his chicken strip. Wishing it was that Seo kid.
"But he showed me a photo from last night. So I couldn't deny it then."
He takes a harsh bite from the strip.
"And what did you say?" Everyone asks as they lean in closer to the elder.
——
"He said yes?!" Two kids screech out.Changbin nods as he drinks his apple juice.
"No way." One boy says.
"Believe it, Seungmin."
Kim Seungmin, Changbins right hand man. In racing and especially in school.
"You're going to get creamed." Another boy spoke.
Changbin glares at his friend.
"Am not Hyunjin! I'm the best of the best."
Hwang Hyunjin, Changbins other right hand man. His mechanic and chemistry tutor.
The handsome boy just rolls his eyes and slings his arm around Seungmins shoulders.
"Tell him babe." He says.
Seungmin ponders for a moment.
"You'll definitely get creamed out there."
Changbin scoffs and crosses his arm. Becoming pouty towards his friends.
"You guys have no faith in me."
Hyunjin and Seungmin lean across the table, grabbing either side of their friends cheek.
"Yes we do, you big baby!"
Changbin smacks their hands away. And leans on the palm of his hand.
"I will beat Bang Chan. And when I do, I'll let everyone know about his little secret."
