LUCIFER'S POV

I was done, I was done been the stupid one, the one that cares,I'm done protecting anyone.

I think now it's time to be me once again. I might hold her dear to my heart but there is a limit I can take. She frustrates me every time, it's annoying and tiring.
Right now I'm done with Rebecca.

For a week now I have been avoiding her, I don't want to look in her eyes and get captivated again so I avoid eye contact.

She made several attempt to talk to me but I simply declined, I would make up one excuse or the other just so I wouldn't spend a minute with her.

Although I was staying away from her I still wanted her to be safe so as usual I placed my demons to watch her 24/7. Guess I wasn't as heartless as I thought I was.

I would secretly call my demons and ask for her whereabout and that of my son, sometimes I would secretly watch her take care of junior.
I still couldn't believe she gave him my name, sometimes she confuses me.

My guards came rushing to me during the process when I was torturing a soul.
" You know how I hate been disturbed whenever I'm busy right?" I said wiping my hands from the blood while staring at them.
" We are sorry my lord but it about Rebecca".

My heart skipped immediately.
" What happened?" No response came from them, they just bowed their head with an expression on their face saying" we are so dead"
" What the fuck happened?" I said with authority.
I could already feel my beast wanting to come out" my lord, we could not find her in her room this morning" one of them said, practically summoning up courage.
" What do you mean you can find her in her room?, weren't you keeping an eye on her the entire time?" I asked grabbing the one who spoke by the neck.
"Sir we were, we just didn't know what happened, when we went into her room to search for her after calling her Several times, we found a note,and I think it for you". He said passing me the note.

My hands around his neck losened as I opened up the note to read. The first thing I noticed was that it was written with blood.

" Ok Lucifer, just so you are wondering what happened to your precious Rebecca,she is in my custody now and guess what I have... the dagger that could wipe her out of existences for good, so if you still want her alive you will get your ass up to the hidden cave deep down in the depths of hell"

Lilith was all that came to my head as I read the letter. She had captured Rebecca when my two morons of a demons were not watching, who knows, it could be Rebecca's blood in the note.

I squeezed the note in my hands due to anger, I was smelling of it.

I was blaming my self, if only I had stayed with her none of this would have happened.
I was a fool and for fucks sake she is with the dagger.
I swear if anything happens to Rebecca, Lilith would pay...
