Christmas was coming. One morning in mid-December, Hogwarts woke to find itself covered in several feet of snow. The lake froze solid and the sound of the Weasley twins being punished for bewitching several snowballs so that they followed Quirrell around, bouncing off the back of his turban. The few owls that managed to battle their way through the stormy sky to deliver mail had to be nursed back to health by Hagrid before they could fly off again. No one could wait for the holidays to start. While the Gryffindor common room and the Great Hall had roaring fires, the drafty corridors had become icy and a bitter wind rattled the windows in the classrooms. Worst of all were Professors Snape's classes down in the dungeons, where their breath rose in a mist before them and they kept as close as possible to their hot cauldrons.

It was the snarky remark that Draco had said that had pissed Jane off that day.

" I do feel so sorry, For all those people who have to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas because they're not wanted at home. He had said that right in front of Jane and Harry.

" You know what Malfoy some of us have family relatives that think its okay to not feed two three year old's because they called them mom or dad" Jane said in a snarky remark.

" My parents rest their souls would have done anything to keep Harry and I safe so why don't you Slyther back into your hiding hole!" Jane glared at Draco with such hatred that was being fueled by his smirk. He just loved getting under Janes skin, Better yet when he got under both Potters he was in his glory. Like the other day Draco had decided that a wide mouth tree frog would be replacing Harry and a banshee replacing Jane out on the Qudditch field. Although No one would be laughing about it. So instead he went to his normal insults about Harry and Janes Parents.

It was true though that both Harry and Jane wouldn't be returning to Privet Drive for Christmas. Professor McGonagall had come around the week before, making a list of students who would be staying for the holidays, and they both signed up at once. They didn't feel sorry for themselves at all ,This would probably the best Christmas they ever had. Ron, Fred, and George would be staying as well as Marley. Mr. and Mrs Weasley were going to Romania to visit Charlie and Morgan. While Mr. And Mrs. Tonks were going on a small holiday to the Americas. So both family's would be staying at Hogwarts. Although Lukas wouldn't be staying nor would Hermonie. They both had family to go home to.

When Jane and Marley left the dungeons at the end of Potions, they found a large fir tree blocking the corridor ahead. Two enormous feet sticking out at the bottom and a loud puffing sound told them that Hagrid was behind it. Jane saw Harry and Ron already talking to him as she waved before getting past them to get to the main corridor. Once outside into the snow Jane spotted two red heads laughing and Lukas covered in some sort of funky goo.

Lukas was typically a calm person he didn't anger easily and it tended to be a good thing between the three of them to have a level head sometimes. With Jane's temper and Marley's attitude Lukas was their saving grace some days.

" I'm going to rip them apart" He growls his teeth having been slightly altered as Jane notices Lukas is grumpy and physically different.

" Just leave them alone their not worth the time!" Jane said pulling Lukas and Marley closer so she had personal body heaters.

" Lukas your eyes are glowing, are you okay?" Marley frowns as Jane notices and Lukas sighs taking out a chocolate frog.

" Yeah i'm fine just slightly angry at them."

Jane looks over to see Fred and George picking on the only Slytherin in the school she can stand. Isabella.

It had been a while since Isabella had made her self appear. But with the Weasleys this was never a good omen.
