scrolling through the comments of a picture you had just posted of you and kalynn-the occasional homophobic remarks comments left you feeling defeated.it felt like staying private could have been the better option.tears lining your eyes you lock your phone as you lay back on the bed,hugging a cushion close to your chest as tears spill down your cheeks as you help yourself hold down sobs

''are people still so mean?after all these years has society still not progressed?" you weakly question,looking up with glossy eyes as kalynn shuffles across the bed, bringing you into her warm embrace.

''most of them are sweet about us,but others are just rude." she explains as she rubs your back soothingly. "but at the end of the day,it's the two us in this relationship,hon.'' her voice remains gentle as you sniffle

''i love you and that's what's important.we can always turn the comments off,right?'' she asks rhetorically lifting you chin up to look at her

''right'' you smile,leaning up to kiss her
