Brianna's POV

Today has been such a good day so far. Sadly Zachy went out to do something, but I got to hang out with Daddy, and my other uncles.

We played a lot of games, and now we were just watching some random cartoon that was on. Soon we heard the door open and Zachy and this random girl walked in.

"Zachy!" I yelled getting up and running to him. He picked me up and gave me a hug.

"Hey bubs, how are you?" Zach asked me.

"Good!" I told him.

"Well thats good." Zachy said back with a smile. Just then I looked over to the girl and my face fell in confusion. I've never seen her before, but she looks like a girl dog. I would say the actual word but daddy told me thats a bad word, so I'm not supposed to say it.

"Oh, Bri this is Harper. Harper this is Daniel's adoptive kid, Brianna." Zachy introduced us. Hold on....Daniel's kid? Zachy always introduces me as his neice and/or best friend.

I slightly waved trying to be nice, but this Harper girl just gives me a fake smile.

"So babe how about we go upstairs and hangout?" Harper said emphasizing on the word babe. Wait, so you're telling me they're dating?

"Uh yeah. Alright, see you later Bri!" Zachy said setting me down.

"I thought you said we could play soccer once you got home?" I said feeling hurt.

"Soccer? A little girl like you can't play soccer, thats for boys, and even if a girl did play, its probably a teenager." Harper told me. Now that hurt.

I just looked at Zachy but he didn't really seem to care.

"We can play sometime later okay?" Zachy told me walking upstairs with Harper before I could even respond.

I just stood there shocked. Did he really just do that? I stood there for a few seconds before slowly walking back over to the others.

I went over to daddy and climbed up on his lap.

"Oh, Bri. Whats wrong?" He asked as he noticed my expression change. He also moved me in a more comfortable position on his lap.

"Zach." I said plainly.

"Okay come here." He said getting up with me still in his arms. He walked into the kitchen away from the other boys and set me on the counter before standing in front of me.

"What did he do because you only call him Zach when your sad or upset with him, which is rare." Daddy said.

"His stupid girlfriend thing. Whatever she is!" I told him as tears came to my eyes.

"Bri, don't cry." Daddy said wiping my tears.

"She is just going to take Zach away from me! I don't like her!" I said.

"Oh Bri, I'm sorry. But for the record, us boys don't really like her either." Daddy said whispering the last part which made a small smile come to my face.

"But other then taking Zach, why don't you like her?" Daddy asked me.

"Becuase she said little girls like me can't play soccer, and that it's for boys." I told him.

"Brianna don't you believe that for one second, girls can play soccer just like boys can." Daddy said bringing me into a hug. I just nodded.

"Now how about we go out? Maybe get ice cream?" Daddy asked me. I felt a smile grow on my face as I nodded.

We quickly went over so I could put on my shoes before leaving to go get some ice cream.
