The Calm To My Storm

Now whos clumsy

My morning went the same as every morning, rudely woken up by my brother, rushed out of the house and to school hours before class started. I sighed and slumped in the same spot as always, I was more tired today. 

I pulled my knees to my chest and rested my head on them, taking in a few slower breaths as I felt my eyes beg to close. I finally gave in to the tiredness and closed my eyes, slowly drifting off. 

" Lynn!- ugh - Lynn!" I jumped awake and the boy infront of me nearly jumped out of his skin, he fell back on his butt in front of me, eyes wide, I tried to catch my breath, taking deep breaths. I looked at him, calming myself down, the halls were now nearly fully, the suddenly in crease in volume made my head hurt slightly. I covered my ears with my hands and Kyo crawled next to me " You were sleeping-" he groaned " class is about to start" he simple said and stood up, pulling me up by my arm to stand next to him. 

" Oh- thanks" I said, lowering my hands and grabbing my bag, he glared at me and sighed, walking into the classroom, I wiped my face with my sleeves and followed behind him, it was weird that he found me and not J, she is usually the first one there. I felt kind of dizzy as I walked behind him. I remembered that i didnt eat since lunch yesterday. 

I stumbled a bit, tripping over someone's bag, I reached out my hands to break the fall but I was caught by someone, strong arms wrapped around my stomach, keeping me up. My heart was beating so fast, I was pulled back to my feet, I looked behind me to see an angry Kyo " Be careful" he said and held onto my tighter for a second before letting so slowly. I nodded in response and slowly walked back to my desk, he stayed close behind me, not saying anything. 

Something about his touch being gone made me kind of sad, I must be tired. The whole class i kept my head on my desk, every so often Kyo would kick my chair and i would spring back up, to attempt to pay attention. It seemed like class would never end, by the end of class I was blocking out so much noise I didnt hear J pull her chair up next to my desk. "MJ, are you okay?" I heard her say but i just groaned in response.

" She could barley walk this morning" the boy behind me said and I sprung up and spun around to look at him, he scoffed and went back to his work. " What? did you not eat again?" she said and i looked at her " stop- I just forgot" I said sighing heavily, I hated how much she worried. I just sometimes forgot to eat, it wasn't that serious. " and you-" I said pointing at Kyo who just slightly looked at me " I was fine, I tripped-" I groaned loudly and bend down to pick up my bag, shoving my homework in it. J looked confused and Kyo just rolled his eyes and handed me his notebook, it took me a second to see it. 

" you slept through class" was all he said, i grabbed it and shoved it in my bag, leaving him and J behind as I walked out.

At lunch I walked into the cafeteria, my head hurt and my ears slightly rang as the noise of everyone filled the room. I was tired and wanted to go home, I didn't need someone else worrying about me. I was fine, I was- 

" Lynn" I heard a voice call to me from behind, I turned around and say Kyo standing there, with a tray of food, his face was the same, always angry, always serious. I smiled at him " Yeah?" I said to him and he shoved the tray into my hands, I stumbled back but grabbed it. " Kyo- I have lunch" I said and he just grumbled and walked past me, slightly brushing his arm on mine. " I dont believe you" he said as I turned around to watch him walk away. 

I watched as two older boys walked up to him, one playfully shoving him and the other smiling, I couldn't hear them but he didnt look happy, one of them looked back at me and i stiffened up, I waved slightly and he did the same. The other, more happy, energetic one turned as well and as he started walking towards me Kyo tried to stop him. 

" Hello!" the tall dark haired boy said to me, I blinked a few times and looked up at him " Hi?" I said more as a question then anything, the boy laughed and smiled widely at me, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. " So your the girl that has our Mad Dog on edge huh?" he said and i looked at him confused " huh?! who? " I asked and he laughed again and pointed at Kyo, who looked like he was blowing steam out of his ears " at practice he wouldn't stop going on about an annoying girl and then today when we saw him after class, he was going on about how clumsy you were" he said and my cheeks heated up a bit.

I pulled away from the boy and nervously laughed " I just sit in front of him in class-" he cut me off again and started pulling me towards his friends, I tried to stop but he was stronger then me " Im Oikawa by the way, if you didn't already know" he said with such confidence it was kind of annoying, i laughed " Never heard of you-" " ouch" I said as his grip got tighter, I jerked my arm away and looked at him. Before he could say anything someone stood in front of me, I heard Oikawa get hit in the head by the other male. " Dont be such a douche! leave the poor girl alone" he said and I smiled a bit, laughing to myself. 

" Ignore him- and sorry" the male said and bowed to me, forcing Oikawa's head down as well. I giggled and smiled " no it's fine- i have a brother so im used to it" I said and he smiled at me, i glanced over at Kyo, who was now next to me instead of in front of me. " Im Lynn" I said and placed the tray on the table and extended my hand out to him, he took it and shook it. " Im Iwaizumi" he said smiling. " how do you Kyotani?" he asked and I could sense Kyo tense up. 

" I sit in front of him in class, I block the board a lot and that annoys him" I say laughing a bit, Iwaizumi chuckles a bit and looks at his friend " everything annoys him" he said, nudging Kyo a bit. " Stop it" he spit out, clenching his jaw together. " it doesn't annoy me" he mumbles a bit. 

" Eat with us - if you don't mind" Iwa said and smiled at me, I shrugged and sat down at the table, Kyo sat next to me, silent most of the time. I talked to Iwa a bunch and made a side comment to Oikawa from time to time, laughing. It surprised me that Kyo had such bright friends. 

I was mid sentence when i felt his knee connect with mine, I just looked at Iwa who was ow confused, I swallowed and kept going. " You should come watch us-" " No" Kyo spoke up and i looked over at him, he had quietly moved closer to me, thats why our legs were now touching " she most likely isn't in that stuff" he said and shoved food into his mouth. " Into what? sports? " I said with a laugh and shook my head " Id love to, I used to be pretty serious about sports-" I sighed " just dont hit me in the end' I teased and Kyo just kept his eyes on me, he nodded, the energy he was giving off was a tad more nervous now. 

" Ill find you after school-" He said and nudged my foot with his, slightly.
