Renegades One-Shots

Nova's Birthday; Simon and Hugh are Great Dads:

A/N: It's pretty short but full of fluff. If you have any requests I would love to hear it! Another short one will be up soon, hopefully!

Summary: Pretty self explanatory but it's Nova's birthday and the Anarchists didn't do much for birthdays so she didn't say anything but when Hugh and Simon find out they go full Dad mode. And Max is so done with his family. Mostly about Simon and Hugh.

Nova:

Nova knew it was her birthday tomorrow but she hadn't celebrated it in years so she didn't think it was a big idea. Adrien didn't know since he didn't know everything about her, yet. They were really close and she loved it. With the Anarchists they weren't big on anything that might be considered kinship. She went to sleep not knowing what would happen the next day.

Nova awoke to Adrien shaking her awake. She opened her eyes and saw he had a hurt expression on his face.

"What's wrong?" she asked him worried someone came to kill them. It wouldn't be the first time.

"Y-you didn't tell me it was your birthday," he said his voice full of hurt.

She burst out laughing but quickly stopped when he saw his expression. "Is that why you look and sound like someone kicked a puppy?" Then she realized something, "wait... how'd you know it was my birthday?"

"Novaaaa..." a voice from upstairs called, "are you up yet?"

Nova looked at Adrien then at the stairs again with a bewildered expression. His face just said that she would have to figure it out herself. She tried to think about everyone that might know her birthday but she was too tired to really think about something so trivial so she groaned and rolled out of bed. "I hate you," she told Adrien, dragging herself up the stairs. When she got there she was... hugged? She froze.

"Happy birthday Nova!" Hugh, Simon, Max, and Leroy exclaimed.

"Uh- thanks?"

Leroy finally pulled away from her (he had hugged her!) to scold her, "why didn't you tell them it was your birthday?"

"Why did you tell them it was my birthday?" was the snarky reply.

"Anyways," Simon interjected. He didn't want them fighting in the house again, Leroy burned a hole in the floor and Nova put them to sleep for half a day (A/N her powers are a little more powerful in this). "Adrien had the wonderful idea to bring Nova to the park. So you kids go get ready and leave."

Nova being the immature teen that she is, stuck her tongue out at them and slowly walked downstairs complaining the whole way. But to be honest she was kind of excited that she was doing something for her birthday for the first time in ten years. And it would be with Adrien!

She got ready and met Adrien upstairs. The adults saw her and hurriedly hid something in the fridge.

"Ready?" her great boyfriend asked.

"Of course," she tells him and gives him a kiss, "let's go."

Hugh/Simon:

They waited 'til the teens had gone to start dishing out tasks. Max was to call their friends and tell them what was happening, Leroy was going to get any supplies they may need, and Hugh and Simon would start cooking. Max did his task fairly quickly only needing to message Ruby, Oscar, Danna, and Narcissa. Leroy had a bit more trouble because the party store he was sent to only had bright colors (the horror) so he asked a worker for birthday supplies and she directed him to the cheerful things. When he messaged Hugh and Simon they said it was what they needed (oh what a dreadful crime to get such cheery and bright decorations).
