When they're finally in sight of the house, Pulch gasped.

"Wow, Your house is absolutely gorgeous." She said in amazement."

Foederis thanked her graciously while unlocking the door.

As they walk through the front door, Foederis brought Pulch to the dining room table.

When they both sat down, Foederis felt the need to be completely honest with Pulch.

"Pulch," he muttered nervously, "I have something to tell you." He doesn't make eye contact

Pulch looked at Foederis with concern.

Foederis continues, "I'd much rather tell you this instead of you trying to pick up the pieces yourself. It's perfectly ok if you become scared with me and don't want to stay with me anymore after I tell you this."

Pulch said impatiently, "Please tell me, you're stressing me out a little."

Foederis finally spat out, "I'm a vampire. I don't prey on people, but on animals. I don't burst into flames when walking in the sun like other vampires, but I am prone to sunburns. I can also read peoples minds, but I block out people's thoughts the best I can. I've got enought strength to rip trees out of their own roots in the ground."

Pulch was still trying to gather everything she heard after a few minutes. She finally asked, "How old are you?."

Foederis replied, "Older than you think."

Pulch said, while placing her hand on his, "Tell me. I won't judge you."

Foederis replied, shamefully, "I'm... 96."

Pulch sighed.

Foederis asked, "Are you disgusted with me?"

Pulch said, "Of course not. In fact, I admire you."

Foederis looked at her, astonished by what he'd heard. He asked in a small voice, "Really?"

Pulch put her hand under Foederis' chin and said with a glittering eye, "You've had to go through so much loss over the years. And I admire that it seems you've been able to stick it out."

Foederis began to cry. He thought that no one would've been able to say things like that to him. He felt so alone for such a long time, and it seems he's found someone he can bear his soul to.

Pulch hugged him through the tears. He fell on his knees from how hard he was sobbing.

Pulch gave him a little peck on the cheek. They began to gaze into each other's eyes. Before they knew it, they were kissing on the dining room floor.
