12: it's me

I woke up next to Kai, its almost noon. I got up and took a shower. I finished and brushed my teeth and hair. I made my way downstairs to see Damon heading out.

"Where are you going?" I yelled out. "On a walk, wanna come?" He asked. I nodded and put on some shoes. We went through empty streets and then entered a forest. "What are you doing?" Damon asked as I started floating with a red glow around me.

"I learned how to do stuff with my magic" I replied. He humphed and kept walking. I got down and ran a little to cath up to him. I started throwing sticks and rocks around with magic, I was getting bored.

I started floating again and was slightly going foward infront of Damon. I was going up pretty high, "Your gonna fall Andie!" Damon yelled. And just like that, I went crashing down. I landed on my back and Damon rushed over to me.

"You jinxed it" I groaned. "Well your a dumbass for even trying" He replied. I was laughing until I realized there was a stick in my thigh. I pulled it out and Damon fed me some blood to heal it.

We made it back home, where Kai was making brunch. Bonnie and Caroline were over so they were talking to Elena about some stuff from Whitmore.

"Hey, your back" Elena said to Damon and I. "Yup and your sister almost died" Damon replied. "Oh don't be dramatic" I said. "Says the one who had a stick in your thigh!" He yelled.

"What!? Andie are you okay?" Elena ran over to me. "Im fine, Damon gave me some blood" I said smacking her arm away. I went to the kitchen and sat down, watching Kai make the food.

"Your staring" He said while having his back towards me. I chuckled and went over to the stove to see what he was making. I sat on the counter, helping Kai crack some eggs on a pan. He turned towards me and put his hands on either side of me. I leaned in and he kissed back.

We kept going until I pulled back, he frowned. "The eggs are burning" I said and his eyes widened. He grabbed the spatula and started scrambling them to not burn. I laughed and started grabbing plates for everyone.

"Foods ready!" I yelled and everyone made their way into the kitchen. They all sat down as I was going around putting some food on everyone's plate.

"Thanks Andie" Bonnie said, "No no. Thank Kai he made all of this" I replied and everyone said thanks to Kai. I smiled to myself seeing how they were getting more and more comfortable around him.

Some rang the doorbell. "I got it" I said and put the pan on the stove. I opened the door to see an unfamiliar man. "Hello, does Andrea Gilbert live here" He says. "Yeah it's me" I replied.

"Great. Im Joshua." He says and shook my hand. I tild my head a little confused since I don't know any Joshua's. "Joshua Parker" He replied. My eyes widened and I tried shutting the door, but before I know it, he had me in a chokehold with a cloth againts my nose and everything went black.
