Gipsy Danger: New War (HIATUS)

Raleigh Becket: [voice over] When I was a kid, whenever I'd feel small or lonely, I'd look up at the stars, wondered if there was life up there. Turns out I was looking in the wrong direction. When alien life entered our world it was from the deep beneath the Pacific Ocean, a Fischer between two tectonic plates. A portal between the dimensions, a breach. I was fifteen when the first Kaiju landed in San Francisco.

We see a Kaiju stomping through the Golden Gate Bridge and destroying it as, the United States military attacked the dimensional beast. 

Raleigh Becket: [voice over] By the time tanks, jets and missiles took it down, six days and thirty five miles later, three cities were destroyed. Tens of thousands of lives were lost. We mourned our dead, memorialized the attack, moved on. And then, only six months later, a second attack hit Manila.

Footage of Manila being destroyed by a Kaiju appeared on screen showing the carnage, the Kaiju brought across the city. Flames and smoke filled the sky illuminating the Kaiju in the dark.  

Voice of News Reporter: ..the Kaiju blood created a toxic phenomenon named Blue Kaiju.

Raleigh Becket: [voice over] And then the third one hit Cabo, and then the fourth. And then we learned, this was not gonna stop, this was just the beginning. We needed new a weapon.

Countries finally coming together to combat this threat, forming PPDC the line of defense against the Kaiju threat. The footage showed the construction of Humanities monsters, along with the first generation of Neural Handshake.

Raleigh Becket: [voice over] The world came together, pooling its resources, throwing aside old rivalry for the sake of the greater good. To fight monsters we created monsters of our own. The Jaeger program was born. There were set backs at first, the neural lobe interface proved too much for a single pilot. A two pilot system was implemented, left hemisphere, right hemisphere, pilot controlled.

Footage of Jaegers being paraded in the streets after their victories gave hope to people across the Earth, while footage also showed the Jaegers fighting back destroying the Kaiju that ravaged our home.

Raleigh Becket: [voice over] We started winning, the Jaegers stopped invasions everywhere. But the Jaegers were only as good as their pilots. The Jaeger pilots turned into rock stars, the danger had turned into propaganda, Kaijus into toys. We got really good at it... winning. Then... then it all changed.

[NOTE: Sorry I copied and pasted most of the section above. This was at 3:00 am in the morning, and I was exhausted so sorry again.]

"Gipsy Danger report to bay 0-8, level A42. Kaiju codename Knifehead category three, it weighs 8,700 tons..." - Raleigh heard the voice of the AI speaking as he excitedly jumped out of bed. "Yancy! Wake up!" - He yelled, jumping out of bed hitting the bed to wake up his brother. "Movement in the breach!... Hey come on, we're being deployed." - He said slapping his face lightly, Yancy groaned and pushed away Raleigh. "Great... good mornin'.." - Yancy spoke pulling the covers off and getting out of bed. Raleigh would be at the personal sink in their quarters, he grabbed a shirt off the ground beginning to get dressed while opening the mini fridge pulling out an orange juice carton. "Kaiju's a category 3." - He told his brother.

Yancy rubbed the back of his neck, he placed his hands on his face rubbing his eyes to wake himself up. "Biggest one yet, codename Knifehead." - He said the name of the Kaiju with a deep voice, Yancy stretched. "What time is it?" - He asked opening his eyes, Raleigh glanced at the clock next to him. "Uh 2." - He answered quick, Yancy looked over at his brother who was pulling a shirt over his head. "AM?" - He groaned making Raleigh chuckle. "Yep! What do ya' say? Its the notch on the belt?" - Raleigh asked bringing his arm up for a fist pump. "C'mon Becketts! Time for the drop!"- A voice from outside their door said after knocking on it, Yancy walked over to the bathroom he stopped and turned back. "Hey kid." - Raleigh turned towards Yancy.



"Ya'?" - He asked making Yancy smirk. "Don't get cocky." - He said closing the door to the bathroom.

Raleigh Becket: [voice over] Years before, you wouldn't have picked my brother Yancy and I for heroes. No chance. We were never star athletes, never at the head of the class, but we could hold our own in a fight. And it turned out we had a unique skill, we were drift compatible.

The camera cuts away to the two walking down the corridor wearing their personal jackets with the emblem and name engraved into the back of it. They walk through the metal door hearing their names. "Alright lets suit up and kick some ass!" - Raleigh said excited, as the others agreed with a chuckle.
