Gipsy Danger: New War (HIATUS)

Time to prove yourself Beckett!

Raleigh sat there in silence looking at Nana, she looked back at him. Beckett began to chuckle slightly then busted out into full on laughter. Elizabeth raised an eyebrow looking down at him as Nana stared at him with worry. "A-Another dimension? Hahaha! That's the funniest thing I've heard all day.." - Nana sat there silent. He slowly stopped laughing looking at her. "Your... your serious.." - She nodded slowly, he began to chuckle. "So... c-can you prove this?" - He asked with shaky words, as she nodded. 

Nana pulled up her pad, as she began to show the history of their Earth. Raleigh looked through the pad seeing no record of the Kaiju.. PPDC.. even the Jaegers weren't there. "How is this possible.." - He questioned holding the pad in a tight grip, his mind going back to what she had said. No one in this world knew who he was, where he came from, the war he's been currently fighting. Raleigh closed his eyes to a tight shut, he gave Nana back the pad. "What about my Jaeger?" - He asked, he prayed the only thing he had left was still there. "Your Franxx.. or Jaeger is fine. It's under repairs." - Raleigh breathed a sigh of relief as he looked up at the ceiling, Elizabeth looked at the pilot.

She almost felt pity for the guy... Almost. But in this war death is common, so he had to get over it. "I want to get out of this bed.." - Raleigh said perking Nanas and Elizabeths interest. "What?" - Nana asked, Raleigh turned his head towards Nana. "I want to get out of this bed and see my Jaeger." - He told her as Nana shook her head. "Your too injured." - She said. "This is a scratch, i've been hit by much worse." - He said swinging his legs off the side of the bed as he stood up gaining his balance slowly.

But it wasn't that simple as he had to use the wall to support him. "You shouldn't be pushing yourself!" - She said nearly yelling at Raleigh before she began walking over to the man. "I don't care... if I don't see Gipsy it'll start to eat away at me." - He groaned out, before feeling someone slide in underneath his arm. Turning his head he saw Elizabeth helping him. "Let's go." - She said. "Elizabeth he's too injured he needs to--" - Nana began but the teenager cut her off. "If he say's he's okay, he's okay." - She spoke, Nana looked at her before she let out a sigh.

She walked towards the door in front of them, opening it up. "Come on..." - Raleigh smiled before being helped through the door. To say he was surprised at the clean hallway was an understatement. He was always stuck in the bunker made entirely of rock and concrete. The trip was relatively short having seen the large facility on the way there. Once they had made it to the large repair bay, Raleigh looked on at the last thing left of his brother and of his world. "Hey girl..." - He spoke softly walking towards the railing without Elizabeth. Raleigh swore he felt the Jaeger look down at him in greeting but he didn't acknowledge it.

"Are you.. satisfied now?" - Nana asked breaking the silence, Raleigh glanced back at her. "Yeah... yeah I am..." - Raleigh said, still looking at his Jaeger. Not noticing Nana approach his side with a tablet in hand. "Your lucky it still works, when we brought it in here the core was barely even operational. We had to replace it along with the arm and visor." - She said tapping away on her pad, he looked over at her. "What else... did you do?" - He asked, making her look at him. 

"We gave it a more powerful core, replacing the nuclear. upgraded your weapon systems by fixing the pulse cannon. Which Doctor Franxx is fascinated on how your people got that weapon added into it." - That made Raleigh chuckle, seems this Doctor Franxx wasn't all that what he was cracked up to be. "We also upgraded the joints and limbs for more flexibility and... extracted any files about your world." - That didn't surprise Raleigh, he did just appear out of no where. "We should get you back to your hospital room.." - Nana said. "Why?" - Elizabeth asked making Nana turned towards her. "Excuse me?" - She asked making Elizabeth smirk, she played along.

"Why not just let him prove himself here? I mean it is repaired ain't it?" - She asked with a smile. "Did you not look at him?" - She gritted her teeth looking at Elizabeth with a mothers glare, Elizabeth smirked knowing she was getting to her. "I mean he is a pilot isn-" "I would need a co'pilot." - Raleigh spoke, gaining the two females attention. "Pardon?" - Nana asked. "I need a co'pilot, the drift sequence requires two people." - He said, Nana took a second to think. Before she remembered seeing that in the files, if one person tries to pilot a Jaeger they might die from the constant pressure on their mind. Nana turned her head towards Elizabeth. "Fine.. I'll.. see what I can do." -  She spoke, she ran a hand down her face. Nana pulled out a communicator.
