Me and Edward.
We both walked towards the graveyard, and Edward held my hand gently as he swung his hand beside mine."It's been a while since I visited my mom," Edward said.
I glanced at him and said, "Edward, it's not your fault. You also finished your mission with Al, restoring your body and living in peace." My face brightened, "I'm sure your mom is thrilled, and so is your dad, Ed." Edward looked at me and breathed harshly, saying, "Ah, okay, Winry, I think you're right; thanks for the confident advice; now come on." He grabbed my hand and forced me to move forward at speed.
"We're here! Oh my God," Edward answered in surprise. I question him, "What? What's is it?" Suddenly, he drops his head down, "I forgot to give Mom the flowers..."
I sigh, "I believe the two of us being together and giving her company will make her happy. Besides, we're getting married soon, right?"
After I say that, Edward shudders and whispers, "Did I save enough cash for the wedding?"
"Edward? What's up?" I lean close, "I-I think I'm broke," he chuckled and gazed at his mother's gravestone.
"Oh, don't worry. I've got a lot of money since I help people, but I don't mind waiting." In a fluttering state, I flutter my hands on my cheeks and spin around. "Oh, how I miss fixing your arm," I say wistfully.
(Even just thinking about it makes my hands want to work. It's a little boring working on his leg all the time.) My body trembled as I spun around while dreaming of it. "WINRY!!!!!" Said Ed, "Oh my God, sorry." I laughed.
Edward's facial expression grew sorrowful; he said, "I wanted to say something to my mother," Edward looked again at the grave, giving his mother attention. "I miss you, mom. Al is doing great, and I have some great ass friends too. I'm here with the one I deeply love and want to marry."
(with all the memories flowing through him, it hurts) I hugged Edward from behind, comforting him, "It's okay, Ed, I'm here with you on this too," I kissed his cheek and released him; he looked at me, "Thanks for everything, Winry, and for being here." He replied.
"You're welcome again," I said with a smile. Ed's growl came from his stomach, "Oh man, I'm hungry."
"We should get back; I might bake you a pie," I giggled. We walk back."Hey, Winry," Edward said, opening the door and stopping.
Edward looks serious, saying, "I've decided to try and get my alchemy back." I responded, "Then go for it, Ed." He replied, "That answer is not what I expected." He entered the house and turned to me:
"Well, what am I supposed to say? I hope you won't put yourself in danger by trying to retrieve your alchemy." He laughed as he opened the front door, "I won't." I walked into the house as he closed the door behind him.
Edward said, complaining, "I'm starving, Winry,""Be patient; I'm about to make the pie," I smiled at him and walked toward the kitchen, putting on my apron, "Okay!"
Ed unbraided his hair with both hands as he sat at the edge of the couch. When finished, he leaned down and called to me, "When you're done, can you fix my leg? It's stiff!"
Yelling back at his response, I said, "Okay!"
35 minutes later
I said, "Hey, Ed, dinner is ready," as I walked into the living room and saw him sleeping peacefully. While his hand rested on his cheek and his head was leaning to the left, his hair was ear to ear. I lay my head on his shoulder and whispered, "I'm so glad you're here, Elric." I closed my eyes.
