"It seems as if everything is going according to plan, should we start trouble with them? Or mess with time on Edward Elric and his so-called fiancé? Let them bring us on our quest, the philosopher stone."

On the way to the ball, I dreamt about my mom teaching me how to cook. I realized that it gave joy to people. The ability to make medicine is taught by my dad, although I want to be a mechanic, so I also take in everything we did together as a family, happy even after their deaths, but Edward, Al, and Gramps will always be there for me.

My eyes flicker open as I stare at Edward.

(We hope to make it and be there for the children, showing them love and caring for things that Edward and I had but never lasted).

Edward leans against the window, his head leaning towards me. "Winry, what is it?" He interrogates. "It's nothing!" I wailed, weaving my hand.

(Jeez, the ride shouldn't be this long, knowing Lan and Ling were going separately) I sighed recklessly and said, "Does it take this long to get to the ball? The last time we went it was very quick."

I could feel the vibration under my feet as the car rose to the right, and I felt a tight tug on my left shoulder. I turned my head and discovered it was Clara clasping onto me. As Edward aloft to the front seat, he blurted, "They're controlled!" He said as he hastily opened the door.

Then he fled. There was a lightweight above the hood of the car, and I heard him say, "Quick, get out of the car."

As I jumped out of the car first, I slammed a hard object on my side with my gasp. "Ouch, ouch," I said painfully as I shifted my upper body to see if Clara and Ed made it. I spot my hand on the ground, pulling myself up while still holding onto my side, calling out, "Edward! Clara!" But no response, I looked around, "It looks like a dessert." (wait did I transition?)

As I walked, I felt the pain on my side, then stopped briefly and wheezed. I kept going up the hill, my hand by my side, "I can't, it hurts so bad." I said wheezing, blood quickly seeped through my shirt.

(Where are they, Edward? I need help) I sat down, laying my back against the tree, closing my eyes. (If I were Ed, what would I do?)
"Hello lady, are you okay? Hey, come here, I found someone!" The boy shouted.
After opening my eyes slightly, I can see a man and a boy as my vision begins to clear. The man gently held me from the side with my left arm across his shoulder, saying, "Thank goodness you're still alive, let's take her home."

"Can you stand or walk?" The man asked. I nodded, the boy held onto the other side. "W-Where am I exactly?" I stumbled to ask. He replied, "You, dear, are in the west of Xerxes."

(That can't be true) I look left and see him, blonde and golden like Edward and Clara. "Have you seen anyone who was hurt or anything, if so can you take me to them?" (Edward and Clara might be safe).

'Yes, our people found them in a weird-looking object, but first, we've got to take you our home. You're badly injured

"It's better to do it now than later," the man insisted, as I bit my lip out of worry, we entered a small cottage, "This is all we have, but we'll take good care of you," he laid me on the floor.

The boy brings out water, herbs, and other supplies I am not familiar with, (If this is in the past then how are we here), the man applies the water to clean my wound on my side, then rubs the herb on me.

I said, "Ouch," in a painful tone. He lifted my shirt halfway, wrapped a bandage around my waist, and instructed me to stand up slowly. I said, "Thank you, what's your name, sir?"

"My name's Percy, and this is Silas." He emphasized, pointing at the boy, I look at where he points. (he looks like little Ed) "Hi, my name is Winry. I'm in a hurry, can you take me to the two people you found?" I pleaded.

"Winry, I'm afraid I cannot do that, it's pretty dangerous outside at this hour, I apologize, do you desire someone?"

I blushed slightly, thinking about Edward, "Y-yes, I hope he's ok." Silas walks towards me and smiles. "I know he'll be okay, Miss Winry."

My head nodded and I sat down. Then I got up, "I can't." I sighed harshly and paced back and forth.
Silas and Percy sigh together, Percy places his hand on my shoulder. "First you have to cover yourself in disguise," he says to me, grabbing an outdated outfit.

"Of course, you're welcome to let your hair down as well, we'll give you privacy to change." (Maybe I'm in the past if so I can ask them questions about Ed's father..)

As they walk out, I take off my clothes and slip on a red/white dress it was easy to put on but a little loose around the wrist. I place this long sash over my shoulder, then remove my shoes and put on white slippers before letting my hair down.
I heard a commotion outside the door and strolled over.
I was curious so I cracked the door softly and peeked between the cracks to see what was going on. As I watch Percy and Silas bow to someone, I see them calling out, "My lord." (Is it the king?) "Oh please stand up, Percy, Silas, I come in peace, checking if everything is stable and right, and my darling come out, I know you're hiding behind the door."

My palm pushes the door forward lightly, and the King approaches me. I bow my head and he reaches for my hand, kiss it.

"Aren't you beautiful, Percy? How long has she been here?" the King asked as he let go of my hand. "We found her and treated her wounds, my lord," Percy replied.

A gentle smile from the King, "Is that so? Are there any others with her as well?" Percy nodded. (I cannot shake the feeling that something unexpected is about to happen.)

The King said, "My lady you are very pale, I would take you to my palace but maybe you can stay with Percy and Silas in the meantime."

He looked so promising and gentle (I'm not sure whether he's detrimental or obedient) "Winry, you must stay here," Percy gestures to me and closes the door behind him.

"Percy, thank you very much, I have a quick question." His expression is anxious, "Yes, please answer," I position my hand together, "Where can I find Slave 23?"

Edward warned me about his father. He stares at me, "He's locked away near the Palace further on the right." That's all he can say to me.

Percy left quickly, but before he did, Percy said, "Be careful, I don't know when we will return, but your friends will be nearby too, follow the path." He evacuated.

"I can't stand around, I need to find them." I crack the door wide open to see if they're still out there. I took off as the sun was setting, looking for a path, (Found it!) I began to run towards the path, my heart beating faster as I ran, "Keep moving." I told myself as I ran. Seeing an individual in front of me, I stopped.

I glanced at the person who was facing away from me, and asked: "Is that Edward?" Edward turned to me, and I ran to him, reaching out his arm, tucking myself in, and I felt his arms wrap around me.

Edward turned his head to the left, "Edward, I thought I couldn't find you." He placed the hand on my chin, then raised my head to kiss me, his hand running through my hair. I yanked back feeling happy. "You found me."
