CHAPTER SEVEN: You Must Be Truly Desperate

Lady Alexander sat face to face with Thor at a local so-call place to eat. They were then approached by Heimdall who made Lady Alexander questioned why he was not guarding the Bifrost.

"You were not at Odin's war council," Thor said as Heimdall came towards them. The man took off his helmet as he talks, "The Bifrost is closed by your father's order. No one is to come or to go." Lady Alexander stares at Heimdall's golden color helmet. Thor gave him some nods.

"We face an enemy that is invisible even to me," Heimdall said as he took a seat, sparing a glance at the young lady who was sitting in front of Thor. "What use is a guardian such as that?" Heimdall said as he sat. "Malekith will return. We know this." Thor said, exchanging looks between Ivana and Heimdall.

"I need your help," Thor said and turned to Heimdall. "I cannot overrule my king's wishes. Not even for you." Heimdall replied. Ivana responded with a smirk. "I'm not asking you to. The realms need their allfather strong and unchallenged whether he is or not." Thor explained.

"But he is blinded, Heimdall," Thor said. "By hatred and grief." Ivana continued and looked at both Thor and Heimdall. "As are we all." The wise man replied to her. "Well, I see clearly enough." Thor continued. "The risks are too great," Heimdall said with a soft voice.

"Everything we do from here is a risk. But we could spare Asgard." Ivana said. "There is no other way," Thor added. Ivana knows that Heimdall had made up his mind. He looked down and then back at Thor.

"What do you require of me?"

Ivana sip on her beer in the glass, one-shot. Not a drop left. She is down for this mission. To save Jane and also, to get Loki out of the prison. Ivana and Thor have the same plans and they have talked about it before. Made it clear and plan it properly. There is no room for mistakes. It could be dangerous if a mistake was made.

"What I'm about to ask you is the treason of the highest order." "Success will bring us exile and failure shall mean our death." Malekith knew that the aether was here. He can sense its power." "If we do nothing, he will come for it again." "But this time, lay waste to all of Asgard."

The warriors including Heimdall, Lady Alexander, and Thor were gathered in a secret room. Where they discuss how the plan will be. The plan is to move Jane off-world.

"The Bifrost has been shut down. And the tesseract locked away in the vault." Sif stated. "There are other paths off Asgard. Only a few know them." Heimdall replied. "One, actually," Thor said. "Hm," Ivana smirked and chuckle. Fandral, Volstagg, and Sif looked at Ivana as she swirled her hand and a glass of beer appeared in her hand.

"What?" Ivana asked when she noticed the warriors were watching her. "But we need to bring him out," Thor said and shifting his gaze on Ivana who was drinking her beer. "No," Volstagg mumbled. "Don't you know?" Sif asked Ivana. "Yeah, I do. But he knows more." Ivana said as she puts her glass on the table.

"He will betray you", Fandral says. "He will try," Thor replied and looked at Ivana who is playing with fire. "How old is she again? It's been years since we met her." Sif said when seeing the lady so fascinated about the fire. "Maybe fourteen hundred years old, hun," Ivana replied without looking at them. Thor raised his eyebrow towards Sif and gave her a slight smirk.

"She is the same with Loki. She is the Goddess of Mischief and Trickster." Volstagg said. "She is many things. But she is also mother's daughter. She has more power than Loki. More power than all of us here." Thor said, reminding the warriors about what she had done to protect the kingdom years ago. The three warriors looked down.

"She can be trusted." Heimdall interrupts before shifting his gaze to the young woman at the corner, fascinated about the fire. When Heimdall says that she could be trusted, they should trust Heimdall. He sees everything.
