Nathaniels POV
"When will she be back..." I said pacing in front of the thrones
"King Nathaniel, there has been a problem with the sharks..." a guard said swimming in the room
"Kill them, or just feed them" I said
"But sir, they are here to collect something" they said
"What is it?" I asked
"We don't know!" They said and then they left
"Y/n will be back soon, she's already 15 minutes late..."
Y/n POV
"*sneezes* sorry *sneezes* My nose doesn't *sneezes* like dust *sneezes*" I said
"WE NEED TO GET GOING, king Nathaniel won't be happy! We are already 20 minutes late!!" Melissa said and swam full speed at me and grabbed my hand and swam out the closet window and went down to the carriage
"Hurry!!" Melissa said to the guy taking control of the carriage
"Heh?" I said completely confused of what just happened the past minute
"We are late! I made a schedule for Nathaniel to know what time we would be back... and we are 21 minutes late now" Melissa said and drank some fresh water (cos salt water = ew...sometimes...)
"Oops, well it is a big fortress" I said
"Indeed, I'm so sorry miss Y/n" Melissa said
"Don't worry, Nathaniel will be easy to take care of... maybe" I said
"Hah"
Time skip to being at the other fortress
"Uhm, y/n stay in the carriage, shark folk are everywhere..." Melissa said
"They are fine, they won't hurt us" I said, I swam out the window of the carriage
"Hello, how are you?" I asked one of the shark folk, they showed there teeth to try and scare me off but eh can't be bothered being scared, I put out my hand to shake and they sniffed it
"found her!" The shark that sniffed my hand yelled and all of the shark folk came towards me
"What's going on?" I asked
"You the new queen for the forgotten fortress right!?" One of the shark folk said
"Yes?" I said concerned, then they left a path for someone to swim down, it was the elder shark folk person, she looked around her hundreds white hair grey tail very wrinkly, the shark folk made a dome like thing around me so they could see who this was
"You highness" she said bowing
"No need to bow, I should be the one bowing" I said and lifted her back up and bowed for her
"You definitely do have your fathers eyes, and your not scared of shark people" the elder said
"Why thank you ma'am, but why are you here?" I asked
"We wanted to welcome you, and see what the ruler of the forgotten fortress is like" she said
"Well I'm flattered, when I'm able to be the actual queen of my fortress I will always allow shark folk in, we are all the same in the inside" I said and bowed again
"Y/n?!" Nathaniel yelled while swimming closer, all the shark folk turned to him and hissed
"It's ok guys" I said
"Y/n, he's trouble..." the elder whispered
"He's fine, I swear" I whispered back
"Y/n! What's going on!" Nathaniel yelled In a worried tone
"They Just wanted to meet me, it's ok" I said butting the thumbs up
"They are shark folk, they are dangerous, they are like animals" he said
"EVERYONE IS DANGEROUS, and your acting like the animal, so shut the fuck up" I said while turning the thumbs up into the middle finger, the shark folk clapped and cheered
"Y/n?..." I heard Nathaniel say with a tear rolling down his face 'oh no... what have I done...'
"I'm sorry Nathaniel... my emotions got the better of me..." I said and swam directly at him and hugged him as tight as I could
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry"I kept saying repeatedly still hugging him and he hugged lightly back
"It's ok..." Nathaniel said
"I'm stupid..." I said then I swam into the fortress and went to my room
Nathaniel pov
I swam after her but she didn't notice me shut her bedroom door and I could here her crying
"IM SORRY!!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs and you could here her punching something soft, I opened the door and swam in and hugged her, she wrapped we arms around me tightly
"It's ok, y/n, you don't have to worry about it, it was an accident" I said and softly squeezed her in a hug

"Damnit, why is she so cute... I need her to be mine!" I said peeping through her bedroom window watching Nathaniel and Y/n hug
"You will be mine, no matter what..."
