Nathaniels POV
I was in my room, it had cyan/green walls with portraits of mother, father and myself, I had a big window to look down upon everyone else in the fortress, I had a desk at the window and I would usually just sit there and draw the outskirts of the fortress and what I thought it looked like, the bed I had was a big king sized bed that had blue bed sheets and white pillow, the legs of the bed was highly detailed the pattern was like waves and it had a girl with a long tail know as the "first queen of the sea"
but right now I was just laying on my bed staring at the ceiling, the ceiling had the four kingdoms on it but the one I was staring at the most was the eastern one
"Master Nathaniel, Lillian wants to talk to you about Y/n" my butler James said (James Charles) ;)
"Let her in" I said, the door creaked as it opened, Lillian was at the end of my bed and bowed
"Your majesty" she said, 'god why can't you call me Nathaniel, you've known me for 13 years!' I thought
"On with it, and please Lillian call me Nathaniel" I said and I sat up from my bed
"Since Y/n is the princess of the eastern Fortress and with what you said when you first met her, it could be possible that she's your soul mate, and since she's the princess of the eastern fortress you would be allowed to marry her if you'd like" Lillian said
"Marry?, but that's to early, she needs to know me first" I said in shock but I was mostly relieved that I could spend all my life with her
"Yes I know, you dont have to marry her, there is still liona and jade, both well know rich lady's who are extremely into you and they are beautiful" Lillian said, I got up off the bed and bolted my way over to Lillian, I was so close to her that my hair touched her
"I will not be a fool to date those, those, those BITCHES!, they are nothing but scum on The side of the road, while Y/n is a precious gem on a necklace, so I will not go for anybody else but Y/n" I raised my voice at her
"Understood Nathaniel, and good temper, it's making you more confident, Y/n might be you key" Lillian said and left the room and shut the door
"What have you done to me Y/n..." I whispered to myself and sat down beside my bed
Y/ns POV
"Melissa, what are we doing?" I asked we where in a big room that was just plain
"We are decorating!, but your going to be the one not me, there is a professional designer for this and she will help you so don't worry, I have to go and do my duty's, bye!" She said then she swam out of the door
"Ok, I can do this!" I whisper to myself, the. Some lady walked in she had like a black hat on 'isn't it disrespectful to wear a hat inside?' I thought
"Hello Ma'am, today we are going to be designing this to how you want it" the lady said, she had a black and brown tail
"Miss, I have a question for you" I asked her
"Yes what is it?" She asked
"Is t it disrespectful to wear a hat inside?" I asked her, she was shocked, he suddenly got her arm out from behind her and took her hat off
"I am so sorry!!" She said and bowed
"It's ok, I won't tell anyone, I think it was best to tell you since it's pretty easy to forget that those things are on your head" I said with a grin
"Thank you so much, if you where a guard I would probably never be allowed in here again" she said and gave me tears eyes
"It's ok, just take deep breath's " I said and she did so
"So what do you want your room to look like?" She asked
"Well I'd like light blue walls, but I kinda want it to be like a garden, so would you be able to pint a blossom tree on the wall behind the bed?" I asked
"Of course!, would you like a bumped-out?" She asked, I tilted my head
"What's that?" I asked She grabbed out a book
"It's a window seat, so you can sit there and you could read or do what ever you want, here" she said and showed me a picture of one

"Oh ok, if that's possible" I said with a smile
"And your bed would be?" She asked
"Uh can it be just a double, I don't like really big beds" I said she nodded and wrote stuff Down in her book
"It will be done in 3 days" she said
"Oh, that fast" I said
"Well, yea I'm quite talented at my work and I think you will love you room!" She said
"Thank you" I said
"No, thank you!" She said and I walked out of the room, where to go
"I should see if they have gardens out the back" I said to myself
10 minutes later
I finally found my way out the back, there where gorgeous sea Corel and flowers, you could also see tiny Sea bunnies, there where paths and they all led to a glass house in the centre, I swam my way over to it and opened the door and swam inside, I found a red and black flower that was like a rose but it was more bigger then I usual one it was in my left, and across from that there was a blue and white flower, it was the same at the red one just different colours, opposites... and that one was on my right, but right at then end of it there was a complete different flower it was a orchid, it was tiny but beautiful, it had blue purple red and hot pink colours all like dots on the petals
"Beautiful..." I whispered to myself, then I noticed a tiny box, it was a music box, the ones that you wind up and it makes soft sounds, I picked it up and moved it slowly, it was a soothing beat, so I moved my tail to the beat
"It amazing isn't it" someone said, I spun around and saw Nathaniel in the door way
"It's fantastic, the orchid is beautiful as well but it's looking a bit sad so maybe give it some more sunlight, orchids have always been my favourite flower, sorry I'm rambling..." I said and put my hand in the back of my head
"It's ok, orchids are my favourite too, they are simple but they are unique" Nathaniel said with a grin, then I saw his dark black eyes, like you could fall into them
"Are you ok?" Nathaniel asked And swam closer to me, then I saw his two tails beautiful blue and green scales with some patches of gold
"I'm fine, sorry, just day dreaming" I said and dropped my arm down from the back of my head to my side
"That happens a lot to me, I day dream about what I'm about to do next, think of people, and just think of random ideas" Nathaniel said
