I know that I suddenly want to write after reading something. I'm not sure why, but hopefully it helps. Keep in mind it's probably not perfect, but I hope you enjoy!
*Slight cursing, and mentions of pain and fear*

"Silence..... it overwhelms me as I fall into a cascade of darkness."

"Quiet..... it brings me peace when the light is too bright."

"Calm..... it always comes after the storm, but don't be fooled the storm will always come back."
Different voices echo in my head each fading out in a mist while another whispers in my ears. It hurts, each word stings and twists under my skin as I listen. I try to tune out the noise, but the whispers still find it's way to my ears.

     "&9:$ 7:!"
Another voice calls out desperate for my attention.
     "WAKE UP!"

My eyes shot open as my sister's screams reached me.
"Alright alright I'm up stop screaming my ears might bleed."

"Ha ha very funny, anyways your late for school." She deadpans throwing me a pancake " Here. Breakfast. Eat."

I roll my eyes at her as I pick it up and start to much on it.

"Anyways school starts in five minutes, so I'm leaving, later loser." She calls already slamming the front door on her way out.

'Five minutes?' I think getting out of bed and lazily walking over to my dresser. 'How can it be........' my thoughts pause as the gears in my head start to turn, then it finally clicked.

"Oh sh** I'm late." I screech rushing to get dressed and out the door. I quickly get on my bike and start to pedal faster than I ever have in my life. The wind rushed past my face as I start to overthink my situation. 'I can't be late I have my assignment due first period' suddenly I hit my breaks as I get in the vicinity of the school. Rushing to get off my bike and in school. I sprint as fast as I can in the doors and down the hallways ignoring people telling me to slow down.

Once I'm at my classroom's door I stop to catch my breath as I slowly open the door.

"So you've finally decided to arrive Mr. Penton I do hope you have a reason for interrupting my class in the the middle of a lesson." Ms. Johnson called out cocking her eyebrows as she looked over to glare at me.

'Fu** what do I do?' I thought panicking 'I could always lie, but I don't know what I should say. It wouldn't even work because I absolutely suck at lying.' I was slowly starting to drown in my own sweat. 'I Feel... Cold? why am I......' I closed my eyes as words started to tumble out of m y mouth my face twisting in agony as i spoke

" I-I hit someone's dog with my bike, an-and I didn't know what to do so I panicked and I took it to the vet and......" My voice trailed off as my eyes began to water.

" Lies..... The only thing keeping the world going. It doesn't matter the lie, but once you lie there is no turning back."

I stepped back for a moment as I reopened my eyes ' I didn't say that.' kept echoing throughout my head as my teacher nodded and told me to go sit down. Keeping my head down I slowly trudged over to my desk and sat down.

"Dude you good? You look kinda pale."

I whipped my head around my to find where the voice came from. "Oh it's just you." I grumble

"whats that supposed to mean." Mark replied pouting " What did you think I was a dead dog coming back to haunt you for killing me." He laughed looking me in the face then he paused for a moment. "no, really though are you alright you look kinda spooked, and I'm pretty sure it's no just because of some dead dog."
