Sorry for the long update, ive had problems with my internet for the past week and a half and my laptop wouldnt load google at all, then i had to empty my recycle bin and then delete loads of files cause my laptop kept freezing! Excuses excuses i know! Im really sorry.

So im writing this, it only short cause im in english lesson right now and i should be working, im doing now because i cant do it at home!

I had began unpacking my belongings and placing them in cupboards that either had doors hanging of or no door at all.

I put the photo frame on the coffee table and the rest of my belongings went into the bedroom that i was not planning on sleeping in.

Although this flat was not the best of flats, it had a nice view out of the window. There was a cafe across the road, cafe rouge to be exact. And i decided i needed a coffee after my long flight.

When i arrived at the cafe after crossing the very busy main road, i ordered as Latte, and when i collected it, i sat down at a 2 seated table near the window, to a view of cars and buses rushing past.

I finally felt relaxed and that i could do whatever i wanted as i sipped at my coffee. It was peaceful and quiet, only with the odd people talking to loudly to their company.

"Could i sit here?" I looked up to a young boy, no older than 25 looking down at me. He had brunette short hair, his fringe styled to the side. He wore 1970's retro styled glasses, with brown converse trousers and a blue jumper. He had a brown satchel around his shoulder and a mug in his hand and a newspaper under the other arm. He was cute.

"Sure." I smiled before looking back out of the window. He sat down and placed his newspaper and mug down on the table.

"My name's Eddie." He said holding his hand out for me to shake it and i did. "Nice to meet you, im Heath." I smiled before taking another sip from my coffee.

"So...are you new in the city?" He asked turning the page of his newspaper. I didnt really want to talk, and the whole loving the silence and being able to hear my own thoughts for once was yet again ruined. "Yes." I said, taking another sip and looked out the window.

"New York city's beautiful isnt it?" He said looking out the window too. I rolled my eyes hoping he wouldnt see. "Yes it is." I said and looked right back out of the window again.

"I moved here 3 years ago, to get a job, and now im living the dream." He smiled turning the page in his newspaper. I noticed he wasnt really reading the paper, just starring at the odd photo and talking to me, a waste of money really.

"Do you have a job?" He asked.

"No, im looking for one though." I said before taking another sip.

"Well i work for the new york times, im a photographer. If you intrested, i have a job empty at the moment, i could suggest it to my boss." He said.

"Depends what job is it?" I asked.

"Modelling, we need a new face for the company, someone no one has seen before, obviously she has to be beautiful and thats why i have picked you."

"Picked? You just met me?" I questioned.

"Good point. Well are you intrested?" He asked taking a sip from his mug.

"Where is the work based?" I asked.

"Ah, well-" He said before taking a pen out of his pocket and writing on a napkin and handed me it. It had a address on it. "46 Standford road?" I said.

"Yes. If you turn up tomorrow there at 9 o'clock we'll have some work for you." He smiled. Before i knew it he had got up, collected his bag, mug and newspaper and was gone. I didnt know if i should be happy, or worried. He was very kind to offer me a job yet i didnt know if it was to good to be true or not. Well we'd have to see what it is like tomorrow, who knows, i could be a model!

I had finished my coffee and was out of the cafe shop as soon as it started to busy up. Who knows, i might get another job offer.

I decided to go back ot my flat and unpack.

The next morning was cold. The heating had turned of in the night and i could see my breath in the air. I got up and decided to have a shower, i had to look nice today, at least to get the job. I want to dress to impress. When i came out of the shower, i dryed my hair and straightened it. I got changed into a white top and jeans with ugg boots and a grey cardigan.

I put my makeup on in the bathroom with the dirty mirror to look through.

I quickly toasted some toast and collected my bag and went out of the door, locking it behind me. The worst part was the fact i have to find this place, and this is my second day in New York.

I grabbed the napkin out of pocket and scoured the different signs on the walls of different alleys and roads. It took me a good 30 minutes to find it, and i had came to a building which was labelled 44. I looked down the alley way full of bins and dirty boxes and trash and thats when i saw a sign above a door lit up. But i couldnt see what it said, until i went closer.

I walked closer, avoiding touching the trash or bins. It stunken down here. It was very nice, i was nervous and felt slightly sick. Is this the place? I questioned, yes it was. Above the door the light lit up read "43". I knocked on the door and waited patiently.

The door creaked open and there he stood, Eddie.

And he welcomed me inside..
