TWO MONTHS LATER

Third P.O.V

Two months had gone by since Jungkook had gone back to hell to endure a series of trial in order to become human again and Taehyung hadn't heard from him ever since. Yugyeom hadn't come near Kai since his last encounter with the angel and the brunette still didn't who had sent him or why.

It was nine o'clock on a Saturday and Taehyung didn't feel like staying in or following Kai around all day, instead he decided to go visit Jimin back in Busan. He flew all the way there and headed to the park, he went to sit down on one of the benches in hopes of seeing a friendly face but only strangers walked past him. He got up and walked around for some time, he stopped in front of a window displaying a shirt that had caught his attention.

 A few seconds later it was a silhouette behind him which caught his attention, he looked behind him and saw Jungkook standing a few steps behind. His eyes grew big and a smile drew on his face.

"Jungkook, you're here" Taehyung went to hug the younger.

"I'm finally back" Jungkook smiled and welcomed the brunette with open arms.

"Tell me everything, you're here so you didn't die!"

"No Tae, I didn't die" The boy chuckled as Taehyung mentally facepalmed for his dumb words. "How about we go to Jimin's café and I'll tell you all about it?"

"Good idea"

They both smiled and walked together, they both knew where they were going, the place where they reunited, where it all began again for them. Taehyung opened the door for the other before coming in himself, he could smell the aroma of cinnamon and coffee as well as hear the soft conversations inside the café, oh how he had missed this place.

They sat down and soon enough were attended by a very smiling, blonde waiter. The two boys looked at each other and smiled before ordering, Jimin soon returned with their order before going to take care of his other customers.

"So?"

"So I talked with Changbin, he wouldn't let me become human just by asking of course but he wouldn't let me do the trials either. He said it was too dangerous and that he would not let me do it but I ended up convincing him, assuring him I would be safe. It took a lot of convincing until he let me do them, but it was even harder to accomplish each trial. The very first one almost took my life and there were still three more to go"

"But you did it, no? I mean you're here now, that means you can become a human again"

"Let's talk about that later, Tae. Why don't you tell me about what you've been up to these pasts two months" Jungkook grabbed the elder's hands in his, whereas Taehyung wasn't liking the younger's behavior. Why wouldn't he tell him, yes or no?

For the following two hours Taehyung told Jungkook about Yugyeom and the younger walked him through each trial. In the end, the ravenette took Taehyung's hand and led him out of the dinner before flying them both to the lake by Jimin's apartment complex.

"Why did you brought us here?" Taehyung asked as he looked around.

"For this" Jungkook bowed his head and closed his eyes. Wind and leaves went flying all around him, same as the smoke had done the day he had left back to hell. When all the wind and leaves disappeared Jungkook deployed his bright white wings and opened his golden eyes.

"Jungkook! You're an angel-" Taehyung blinked several times, he couldn't believe what he was seeing. Jungkook smiled and proudly flapped his wings.

"What I didn't know was that in order to become human once more, I must first become an angel again and only then, can the king of angels grace me the gift of human rebirth"

"I still can't believe it. You're so beautiful, Kook" The elder came closer, he had tears in his eyes as he looked at the angel that stood before him. 

The ravenette smiled his bunny smile before changing back to his normal shape, his hands snaked around Taehyung's waist, bringing him closer. His head rested against his chest, listening to the elder's heartbeat.

"We have to go to heaven now, let's not wait one more minute" Taehyung pleaded.

"I'm finally going to go to heaven again, one last time" Taehyung smiled and locked his hand with the younger's.

"Race you there?" Jungkook softly whispered.

"See you in heaven" Taehyung answered back.
