Jane Fonda is your typical straight A student at Willow Creek High. She always focuses on her studies and had never been to parties, been addicted to drugs or gotten into any trouble. It is expected of a daughter of a politician after all.

Lily Tomlin is a troubled young woman with a troubled home life, who's only wish is that everything would be alright.

When the two women had a day of detention together, a great friendship (which will turn into so much more) starts to blossom. Follow the women throughout their journey of chaos, happiness and love.
