The Witch of Poisons

Tracy, the Witch of Poisons, spots Jade with two other Witches wandering the halls of Cloud Tower. She snarls, but doesn't give it another thought until she senses something...

"...good magic? Light magic...it can't be..."

She takes a closer look at the other Witches, and she recognizes them not as Witches, but as the two Fairies she trapped Jade with in the well!

Her snarl turns to a wicked smile, "Oh, this is going to be fun."

The secret passageway leads to a bright glowing orange orb that's surrounded by towering gargoyle statues.

"This must be the Heart of Cloud Tower...now the question is, how do we destroy it? I don't even have my Gloomix..." Jade realizes out loud.

"Yeah, and neither one of us have our Charmix," Ancrua points out as the trio reach the bottom of the stairs.

"Wait! What about that thing we did, to escape the tunnels? Where we combined our magic?" Silver suggests.

Ancrua can't help but cringe, "You mean convergence spell? Silver, you should really know what that is."

"I know what it is, okay!" she snaps at her friend, "Let's just do this and get out of this creepy school!"

Jade is hesitant, "I don't know if even a convergence spell could destroy the Heart of Cloud Tower, but with your Fairy magic, it might be enough to counter the darkness of the Heart-"

"Not so fast."

The girls turn around to find Tracy, standing at the top of the stairs. She flies down to confront them.

"What a downfall of a Witch. To be named one of the most powerful first-years only to be caught trying to hurt her own kind? You're done at Cloud Tower, Jade."

Jade begins charging up her power, "Not before I take you out first."

"Count us in too!" Ancrua chimes in, as she and Silver transform into their Winx forms.

Tracy smirks, "Like I'm scared of a couple of pixies. Toxic rot!"

Blasts of poisoned magic fire out at the girls. They all fly up out of the way to dodge, and the magic blasts hit the floor underneath them, rotting away the material in the floor into a black sludge.

"No way! That's so wrong!" Ancrua shouts at the Witch in disgust.

"I suppose you're not interested in joining our new Winx Club?" Silver asks with half of her usual sincerity but also as a bit of a joke.

"Why would I want to be a part of something so lame!"

Tracy fires a bolt of her magic right at Silver, hitting her right in the wings. She rockets down, and Ancrua scoops her up, bringing her to the ground safely. Jade whips toward Tracy, enraged.

"My wings...I can't fly..." Silver tells the other two weakly.

Jade's power spills out of both of her hands, "You're going to pay for that. Raging fire!"

A blaze of fire snakes all the way from Jade to Tracy. It encircles her, surrounding her in green flame. Jade becomes even more charged with power as her anger grows, and she raises her arms up, "Volcanic eruption!"

Mountainous volcanic rock with bright glowing-green lava breaks out from under the floor around Tracy, and the circle of flames keeps her from escaping.

But Jade can't contain the fire just to the circle around Tracy and the flames spread right towards Jade. Meanwhile Ancrua has helped Silver onto her feet. They start towards Jade to help her, but she holds out a hand to stop them.

"Don't! You guys have to destroy the Heart of Cloud Tower! I'll keep Tracy busy!"

"We won't be strong enough to do it without you!" Silver cries out.

Still holding together her spell, Jade turns around to face her sister, "You will be. You're destined to be queen, Silver. I know how much becoming queen means to you. You can do it. And maybe it's for the best...that I stay out the way."

Growing out of control, the fire blazes a wall between Jade and the two Fairies. Jade gasps at the fire, losing concentration of her spell. Tracy breaks free, and charges at Jade.

"Go! Destroy the Heart!"

Jade flies to face Tracy as Silver and Ancrua surround the Heart of Cloud Tower. The two Fairies raise up their hands, collecting their power.

"Winx convergence!"

Silver's white magic and Ancrua's blue magic create a sky blue convergence spell that circles around the orange Heart.

Meanwhile, Jade and Tracy battle it out amongst the raging flames. But it's clear that Jade is running out of magic fast, having spent her energy on her new spell. Tracy aims another bolt of magic at her.

"Toxic rot!"

The spell lands a direct hit on Jade, and she's knocked to the ground. Tracy grabs her by her shirt and flies up to the spreading fire.

"A Witch burned by her own flame...how poetic."

She's interrupted by Cloud Tower beginning to shake. The Heart starts to shine bright as Silver and Ancrua pour all of their power into it. It shatters, the bright orange magic dimming to a faint ember. The chamber that houses the Heart of Cloud Tower starts to crumble, stones falling all around them.

Shocked by the earthquake, Tracy loses her grip on Jade and drops her into the fire.

"Jade!"

Ancrua flies up to catch her as Silver watches on helplessly.

"Is she alright?"

"She's hurt, bad. We need to get her out of here," Ancrua explains, holding onto Jade.

As the chamber's collapse begins to escalate, Tracy looks around and snarls, before flying out the exit.

"We all need to get out of here! But Jade's down, and I can't fly!" Silver exclaims, close to tears.

Keeping calm, Ancrua forms a plan, "I'll take care of Jade, you shield us from any falling debris."

Getting ahold of herself, Silver nods, "Shield of light!"

Silver forms a small portable shield as the trio walk out of the crumbling chamber. Ancrua supports the passed out Jade over her shoulder, and when they get to the fire, Ancrua uses her water magic to counter the flames.

"Showering rains!"

Her magic neutralizes the fire, and the girls are able to escape before the chamber completely collapses.
