| Friends? I don't think so! | POV: 1st/2nd Words: 1254 (I found the playlist as I was writing this and it was an inspiration for this oneshot^^) | Y/N POV |
I was walking down the crowded halls of UA, Mina and Denki close by my side. They had been running late, so they decided to walk with me instead of the rest of the Bakusquad. As we neared the classroom, I could hear the chaotic yelling of Bakugou and Iida.
"For the last time, sit properly in your desk!" Iida said as we walked into he classroom. "What you gonna do, give me detention Mr. Class Rep?" Bakugou sneered. I rolled my eyes, letting out a small huff of amusement. I walked to my desk, only to gasp as I felt someone wrap their arms around my neck. I let out a small gasp, turning my head to see a sharp-tooth smile, that could only belong to a certain sharky boy. "Hey, Kirishima. What's up?" I said, placing my hands on his. I chuckled at his now slightly flustered face. I loved making him embarrassed, it was adorable.
"Eh, not much. You?" He said, as he let me go from his hug, a slight blush on his face. I shook my head, and he chuckled. "Hey guys!" We both looked up to see Mina, standing over my desk. "Bakugou, Denki, and I were going to go out tonight. Care to join us?" I looked up to see Kirishima nodding enthusiastically. "In that case, I'll come along too." I said. "Everyone settle down.. this class is too loud..." Aizawa-sensei said as he walked into class. "Lets get started."
= Time skip =
I sighed as I walked back to the dorms rooms. I was pretty tired, but I was looking forward to wherever I was going with the Bakusquad. "Hey, Y/N! Wait up!" You turned around, only to be crushed into a massive hug. I let out a laugh, looking up to meet Kirishima's eyes. "We're heading out soon, so we better get changed." I nodded, and we raced back to the dorms.

I looked in my mirror, admiring my outfit. I was wearing a short floral dress with puffy sleeves. (Something like this)

You walked out of your dorm to the common room to be greeted by the rest of the Bakusquad. You looked at Kirishima's outfit, which was a pair of light jeans and a flannel over a white tee (something like this)

You silently cursed yourself for overdressing. You looked back up, watching as Kirishima snapped his head away from you, blushing. "Oh my god Y/N, you look so beautiful!" Mina squealed. "Oh, thanks Mina." I said sheepishly. "Where are we going anyways?" I took out my phone, checking the time- 5:39 P.M. "Denki and I were thinking of going to that carnival that's going on right now. Sound good?" Mina smiled widely, and I nodded, trying to match her enthusiasm. "Let's go then!"
= time skip =
We had been at the carnival for a little while now; we had gone on rides, went to the haunted house, and tried at least half of the delicious foods. You looked up at the stars as we walked, zoning out a bit. "Hello~! Earth to Y/N!" You looked up to see Kirishima waving a hand in front of your face. "Did you hear us? We're going on the Ferris wheel." He took your hand and pulled you along to catch up with the others. Once you got there, you looked at the sign. Only two people per passenger car. There were 5 of you. "I'm sitting this one out," Bakugou said. "I'm not sitting with some random person." "Well in that case I'll ride with Denki and you and Kirishima can go together." You nodded, looking at Kirishima for affirmation. He nodded, squeezing your hand which you just noticed he hadn't let go; you liked it. You hopped into the compartment, Kirishima close behind. He sat next to you, and you clung to his arm- you were a little scared of heights. To this he only replied with a chuckle, and he put his arm around your shoulder. As you went up higher and higher, you found yourself scooting closer to him, getting more nervous with every swing of the car. When you began shaking slightly, Kirishima let out a small sigh, and cupped your cheek so you would look at him. "You should've sat out if you were going to get this scared." You leaned into his touch, and looked at the floor. "I just wanted to spend time with you.." you said in an apologetic tone. With this his face softened, and he pulled you into a hug. You let out a shaky sigh, melting into his arms. After a few moments, you were at the very top- you didn't know what made you do so, but you suddenly blurted, "You're my best friend, you know that?" He looked at you, a serious look on his face. "Friends? I don't think so!" He said in an irritant tone. You looked at him, confusion and hurt painted over your face. His gaze then turned humorous, and he laughed. "I'm sorry, I had to take that chance. It was too perfect..-" he stopped talking, noticing you were starting to tear up. He gently took your chin in his fingers, and made you look into his eyes. "I'm serious. You're not just my best friend. You're the one I've fallen for." And with that, he placed a soft kiss on your lips. You tensed, as you were not expecting this. But you soon melted into the kiss, closing your eyes. He then broke the kiss after a moment, and you leaned into his chest. "I love you," you muttered, moving off of his chest as the ride came to an end. You hopped up, taking his hand again, giving it a squeeze. "Love you too Pebble." He whispered into your ear, and led you over to the others. Mina let out a little "oooh" when she saw you two holding hands, but you couldn't care less. As you starting walking to the parking lot, you passed one game that caught your eye- it was a ball tossing game with sea creature stuffed prizes, one of them being a kawaii shark. You tugged on Kirishima's arm, and led him over. He immediately understood, and paid for a few credits to play the game. He lost the few first times, looking over at you for support. You ended up correcting his posture, and with that he easily won the prize after. You let out a little squeal as he handed you the medium plushie. You kissed his cheek and took his hand again. You smiled and ran back to the others, getting there just as your Uber pulled up. Once you got home, you snuggled with Kirishima on one of the couches with your new plushie while watching a movie. You both fell asleep like that, cuddled on the couch under a few blankets. You didn't care who saw, you just new that you would enjoy the times like this in the future.
