Chapter 6
-
Fletcher's POV
-
Chris gets off the phone with a shout, "Yes! She's coming to Australia!"
"Um. I'm a little lost, who's coming to Australia?" I frown not understanding.
"Rose! She's coming in a week because of the War," he exclaims.
"Oh, that's good. Hopefully Jack doesn't get more weird about the whole thing."
"I'm going to go clean my house for when she comes," he ignores the part about Jack.
"She's coming in a week. Why not just do it the day before?" I inquire.
"Fletch, we both know my house takes a long time to clean. Plus, I want to be prepared!" He smiles.
"Okay, I'll just sit here whilst watching Sherlock and eating M&M's if you need me," I smirk.
"Typical Jack. Get off your ass bro," Chris shakes his head at my laziness.
"Hey! Shut up, I only do this on the weekends, other than that I'm fit!" I point out.
"True," he agrees, "well, I better start cleaning."
"I'll help after the episode," I explain.
"But you only just started the new one and they go for an hour!" He yells.
"Exactly. You get started, I'll come in a hour," I grin widely.
"But dinner is in an hour!" He sighs.
"Once again, exactly!" I blurt out my laughter, having to pause the episode to continue my current fit.
Out of the corner of my eye, I think I see him laugh too.
