The rain had stopped and the pale cat stared at the dark hedgehogs body. "He sacrificed himself for people he didn't even know... How could the world be this cruel?" She sighed. She had watched how he had been killed, from the arrow to the slit throat. No one could survive, she already checked his pulse for a sign, for something but he had nothing, and his body had already gone cold. She gently rested her hand on his head, and gently brushed back the fur. But suddenly, his eyes snapped open.

He sat up with a gurgled gasp and made gagging noises from his throat, before taking a big inhale and making more gasping noises. "HOLY SHIT!!" Screamed the cat and fell back, running into a tree and staring at the presumed dead hedgehog. He didn't take notice though. He was busy cutting his muzzle with a rock then took deep breaths in with the makeshift mouth before it healed up again. Not even leaving a scar. She looked at his neck and noticed the cut was gone. "W-what the hell are you?!" She gasped. He then took noticed and looked her way, making her squeak and try to scoot away. He took a good look at her from head to toe, she was a thin white cat with a dark red tail tip, paws a ears, two little fangs stood out from the corners of her mouth and she wore dark greyish blue jeans and a dark black and red hoodie, black shoes and black fingerless gloves. Her eyes were a light brown and her tail was fluffed up and curled around her in fear. The hedgehog stood up and brushed off his fur, then took of the torn cape and threw it in the bush.

"I'm something that doesn't die easily," he replied, his voice echoing in her head. She didn't move.

"But they- they killed you! Made you bleed out from the neck! That kills anyone!" She whimpered.

"Anyone but me, I've faced worse, where am I?" He grunted, looking around.

"B-behind the city, I dragged your body- well you here because... It was cruel to just leave you there..."

"You were going to bury me."

"I-I ... Yes, I thought you were dead!"

"As you keep saying, er... Angel."

"How do you know my name?!"

"How do you think I talk? Look I better get going, I may have to give a thank you to the person who thought they could ambush me," the hedgehog growled and and began to walk toward the city entrance.

"Wait! I don't know your name!" Shouted Angel.

"And I'll keep it that way," he grunted.

The cat stared after the undead hedgehog, questions racing through her head. Who, what, was he? How did he know her? And why did he seem so, distant? Where did he come from? And what did he mean by 'thank the person who thought they could ambush me'?

(Hehe, Yeeeaaahhh, short sorry. But hey I got a character in there!
