A Night with a Champion

Pyrrha: "Wanna come over? You know to celebrate your second knockout victory in your career?"

Nikolai rose an eyebrow.

Nikolai: "It's rather late, you sure you want to?"

Pyrrha: "You're my friend Nik, of course I'd want to you come over"

Nikolai smiled as Pyrrha called him her friend, he then nodded with a smile that could illuminate the night.

Nikolai: "I'd love to"

Pyrrha took him to her car and drove on the roads of Vale, Nikolai looked out at the city and it's beauty. In the Russian prison all he saw was darkness and blinding white from the snow, but here in Vale was a beautiful illumination of lights under the night sky. Pyrrha noticed Nikolai's intrigue of Vale and giggled.

Pyrrha: "You seem awfully attracted to the view"

Nikolai: "In Russia cities like these don't exist, I never got to see the beauties that is in this city"

Pyrrha: "I'm glad I'm giving you the opportunity"

The two then stopped at a rather luxurious home, Nikolai's eyes widened with excitement as he saw the beautiful home. He got out of the car eyes still on the home.

Nikolai: "This is your home?"

Pyrrha: "Yes it is, why do you ask Nikolai?"

Nikolai: "I just never saw a house like this before, it's like you tore it out of a painting and made it real"

Pyrrha laughed a bit at Nikolai's description of her home, it was like a child's description and she didn't mind it.

Pyrrha: "Come on, let's go"

Nikolai entered the home with Pyrrha, he looked to see the decor and the structure of the home. He went to a very cozy looking living room and saw Pyrrha going to the fridge.

Pyrrha: "Go ahead and take a seat! I'll get us some beverages"

Nikolai: "Oh uh...I don't drink, sorry"

Pyrrha: "Don't worry, I don't drink either"

Pyrrha then got two bottles of chocolate milk, Nikolai who was very much unfamiliar with some of the common comfort foods or drinks in Vale had no idea that chocolate milk existed.

Nikolai: "Chocolate...milk?"

Pyrrha: "Yeah, I like to have these when I am off of training. If you don't like it then I can get you something else"

Nikolai: "No no that's not it, I just never seen something like this before that's all"

Pyrrha blinked a few times, she didn't expect Nikolai's unfamiliarity to be this high, but she didn't judge him for it. Nikolai took a sip of the flavored milk, it's sweet taste immediately got him hooked into the milk. He stared at the bottle with saucers for eyes.

Pyrrha: "So...how'd you like it?"

Nikolai started drinking more of it rather quickly, Pyrrha could only smile like if she saw a child discovering what candy was. Nikolai finished the bottle and looked at the brand.

Nikolai: "Where do you get his stuff? And what is it called?"

Pyrrha: "It's chocolate milk, you can get this at a convenience store or a supermarket"

Nikolai: "...a what?"

Pyrrha: "Nikolai, is this your first time in a city?"

Nikolai: "Yes, I lived in a part in Russia where it was far from the city. I never got a chance to see the city until now, I thank you for that"

Pyrrha: "The city isn't always such a nice place"

Nikolai: "I know that, but I am enjoying it so far thanks you and the others"

Pyrrha smiled more as she drank the rest of her chocolate milk.

Pyrrha: "Wanna watch a movie?"

Nikolai: "A movie sounds great"

Pyrrha got a DVD from the shelf, she popped the disc in her console and played Fearless. Nikolai watched the movie with Pyrrha right next to him, it was Nikolai's first Kung Fu movie and it was a majestic experience for Nikolai.

Nikolai: "That was amazing"

Pyrrha: "I've always watched Kung Fu movies as a kid and it got me into Mixed Martial Arts, I even tried some Wushu on my own"

Nikolai: "Really?"

Pyrrha nodded.

Nikolai: "My father told me that Asians were one of few groups of people that were able to turn fighting into a science"

Pyrrha: "Well most of the things that are used in MMA wouldn't be here without Asia's martial arts"

The two smiled at each other feeling their relationship growing even more.

Pyrrha: "Wanna watch another movie?"

Nikolai: "I'd love to"

The two sat down for another movie enjoying each other's company.
