Nikolai struck the heavy bag with his gloved fist, he threw kick after kick moving the bag. Nikolai then hit the bag with hard and blurred punches.

Nikolai stopped after what seemed to be ten straight minutes on the bag and sat down to rest, he removed his boxing gloves and drank some water.
Yang: "I didn't expect to see you here this late at night"
Nikolai turned to see Yang who came back from a sprint, he smiled to see the fighter with the lion mane.
Nikolai: "Well it's boring where I live anyways"
Yang laughed at Y/n's remark, she sat next to him taking a break as well.
Yang: "I know you talk about your father a lot during the post-fight interviews, what is he like?"
Nikolai: "He is a strict teacher but a great man at heart, and he is also a great fighter. He taught me everything I knew and is the reason why I am the person and the fighter I am"
Yang: "He must've been a great parent"
Nikolai sighed a bit at Yang's statement.
Nikolai: "He was the only parent I have..."
Yangs face turned into a rather sad one as Nikolai mentioned his single father.
Yang: "You too?"
Nikolai: "What?"
Yang: "My mom...my blood related mom left me and dad when I was younger, I don't know why but she left"
Nikolai: "That is horrible"
Yang: "I tried looking for her when I was younger, I started losing hope and became depressed in that process. So dad brought me to his kickboxing gym to try and find an outlet and it relieved me of that state..."
Nikolai: "I'm guessing that you hated it at first?"
Yang: "Of course I did"
The two laughed at Yangs bluntness of her answer.
Yang: "I'm glad that I have dad, step-mom, and my younger sister to help me when things go bad"
Nikolai: "Younger sister?"
Yang: "Yeah, Ruby is my younger sister"
Nikolais face turned into one of disbelief, Ruby "The Thorn" Rose is Yangs sister?
Nikolai: "You two look nothing alike, how is that possible?"
