Gentle blue lighting flickered across Shuichi's face, his discomfort felt like the pressure of the ocean.

For three whole nights- his beloved Ouma had constantly kept a slightly overwhelming sleep consistency, or in other words- a lack of one. Every area of the detective's body ached, for countless hours he'd keep himself up, despite having work the next day. Shuichi rarely got to spend time with Ko, as the boy seemingly prioritized his stream streak over their relationship. And boy, did it bother Saihara.

Shuichi rose from his humble bed, grey-ish blue sheets fell ontop his carpet, begging to be picked up again. But despite his efforts, Shuichi couldn't bring himself to pick them up. He rubbed the bags underneath his eyes, tracing along the saggy purple-ish blue.

 ((A/N Why am I trying to describe colour- like- I'm colourblind and 99% sure my friends are sick of me asking which colour is which lmfao--//))

Saihara placed a gentle hand upon Ouma's shoulder, before noticing the boy had fallen asleep on stream. Gentle snoring escaped his lips, and Shuichi seemed to fall in love with him all over again.

Though, curiosity got the better of him- and he took a quick glance at the chat.

Most messages were spamming numbers, like 11037. Others had commented on how cute Kokichi's sleep habits- like the gentle snoring or occasional purring from the younger male. Saihara had to agree- but slight jealousy clouded his mind. '𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘦? 𝘞𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘮𝘦?' Shuichi shook his head- clearly the insomnia was getting to him. Ouma wouldn't dare- the two had been deeply romantic with eachother for several years. 

'𝘐𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘦?' This time Shuichi facepalmed- no chance. Surely. Maybe? Whatever- it didn't matter- his poor lover had clearly been overworking himself,- and needed some time off.

With a quick goodbye, The blueberry-haired detective ((Fun fact: My colourblind-ness has gotten so bad, I can barely see that anymore. Guess times change,, heh-- //)) Ended his partner's stream, feeling so proud the small boy could make such a successful career off of doing something he loved so much- whether he felt like streaming Minecraft or doing his Danganronpa playthrough.

Shuichi plucked Ouma from his expensive gaming chair- memories of time they went shopping for hours and hours, just to pick small items for Kokichi's set-up flooded the detective's memory.

He proceeded to carry the small boy towards their room. Shu gentle turned the door, having tip-toed all the way incase Ouma decided to awake from his nap. The tall wooden door creaked eerily, causing Shuichi to cringe in fear. Ouma stirred, but remained asleep.

He tucked the purple-haired male back into his sheets, although he could've let the boy sleep on the spare bed behind his gaming setup- Shuichi was certain Ouma would've just woken up to keep streaming. Which obviously would be bad for his health- and his fans noticeably could tell Ouma's sleeping time were way off.

Shumai crawled in beside the short boy, wrapping his arms gently around his waist. Kokichi grumbled in his sleep, before mumbling, ''Sh-Shuichi..?'' He grubbed his eyes and yawned, Saihara just smiled. ''Go back to sleep, love. You can stream tomorrow.'' Ouma nodded- cuddling into Shuichi's chest.

''Goodnight... Shumai..'' 

''Goodnight kokichi, I love you.''
