I walk up to you.
I don't hesitate.
I will only do this once.
For me and for you.
I greet you with
My usual mumbles.
You smile back.
Oh, how I've missed
That smile.
The golden aura with it.
You act like nothing,
Absolutely nothing has
Changed.
You act as though
The day where I
Told you,
The day that scarred me,
The day I both
Love
And
Hate
Never happened at all.
I admire that
You can do that.
It also confuses me.
I realize
That my
Words
Out loud
Won't work.
I bring my notebook out,
And start writing
Once again.
