Crunch, Crunch, Crunch....

The snow under my feet made loud noises every time I took a step forward, as I walked passed the many trees of the forest in which Emilia, the witch of glaciation, resides, it'd been a week since I first met her, when I returned that day people were surprised to see me in one piece. Those idiots from before acted like I pulled off some amazing stunt. I didnt. Honestly what happened to me in the forest was kind of pathetic.

Though as pathetic as it was, I returned the next day and got to know Emilia better. She has this weird cat thing named puck, it can talk. Since when can cats talk? Anyways, it doesn't matter, what matters is that, Emilia seems to get me, like she's gone through some kind of troubling time, though I have no clue what. This is the only person I really feel I can get along with.

A familiar home appears in front of me, As I stepped up to the door of Emilia's home, I took a deep breath, a sort of routine I would do outside her door for reasons unkown to me. I knocked on the door three times, and after a bit of rustling could be heard, the door popped open, showing a Silver haired Half-Elf in what could be considered a night gown, who wore those in this day and age? Now when I found out she was half elf, I wanted to get away from there asap. But I've come to realize half elves aren't that bad, I personally dont see why people are so afraid of them. I mean yeah one was bad, but that doesnt define an entire species.

I forgot to mention what I carried with me, it was a small basket that contained some bread and some water, it wasnt much but it would make do.

"Hey Emilia-san, Ive brought some bread and water for you"

She paused for a bit and seemed to think on what I said, before letting out a sigh.

Emilia: "You dunderhead, why do you keep brining me things?"

Y/N: "Who says Dunderhead in this day and age? Also, because i can't imagine it being very easy to find food out here in the wild."

Emilia: "Well, I guess you're right, but still! You need to stop bringing me things and save it for you and your family!"

Y/N: "You know I can't let my only friend go hungry, that wouldn't be very friendly of me now would it Emilia-san?"

Emilia sighs and steps toward me, putting her hand on my head and ruffling my hair like an adult to their child.

Emilia: "You're so stubborn Y/N-kun!"

I step back, emilia's hand accidentally falls onto my chest seeing as she's nine inches (22.86cm) shorter than me. I kneel down a little to meet emilia's eyes

Y/N: "Im not being stubborn, im just trying to help a friend, its the least I can do."

I quickly pull Emilia into a hug, her arms wrap around my back in an embrace. I notice something that smells quite nice, her hair. (Dont fucking question it mate)

Y/N: "Thank you for being so kind to me, and letting me hang out here Emilia-san."

Emilia: "Why wouldn't I want to hangout with you? You're really kind Y/N-kun!"

I let go of Emilia, and stand up straight.

Y/N: "Thank you again. I'm sorry I couldn't have stayed longer, I have to get home or my family will be wondering where I am. See you Emilia-san!"

Emilia: "Goodbye Y/N-Kun!"

And then I opened the door and walked out, closing it behind me and beginning my journey back home

(About 20 minutes later)

I arrive back in the village and who do I see, but the idiots from last week; they're looking at me like they've just seen a ghost.

I walk up to them to see whats up and then sigh.

Y/N: "What do you pricks want?"

Idiot 1: "Where have you been for the past hour and a half?"

Idiot 2: "Yeah! We seen you walkin' out inta da forest!"

Y/N: "First of all, your grammer is horrible. Second of all, why is what I do of any concern to you?"

Idiot 1: "Hey whats that smell on you? Have you been sneaking out to see a girl?"

Y/N: "So what if I have been, what're you idiots gonna do about it?"

Idiot 2: "Is it da witch who live in da forest? You said you wasn't scared of her!"

Y/N: "That information doesn't matter"

Idiot 1: "You have been haven't you! I'm gonna report this! You're gonna be kicked out of the village!"

Y/N: "Can't report what you don't remember."

Then I punched the first idiot square in the nose, he fell over and hit his head, knocking him unconscious. Then I kicked the other idiot in the face, I couldn't have him reporting me either.

After they were both unconscious I made my way home, ready for today to be over so I can see Emilia-san again.
