Chapter 8 - The interview

I stepped into the room. It was quite dimly lit and had plain grey walls. All there was in the room was a table at three chairs, two and one end and one at the other. I took the only seat available all alone at the end of the table. There were two officers, both male and both in uniformed.

"So, y/n do you know why you are here?"

"Yes, I am here for questioning about my boyfriend and his attack."

One officer was taking notes and the other was doing all the talking I assumed by the looks of it.

"That is correct you were the last person to be in contact with him before he was attacked."

There was a long silence like I needed to say something. That was quickly broken by the officer. "Did he say anything about having any enemies or someone that he disliked or anything similar?"

My assumption was probably right there was one officer talking and one taking notes. I had to be completely honest here "No he never said anything of the type".

The officers looked at each other in almost confusion "Well we caught one the villains and they were normal street villains and he said that they hurt Mic only for one reason --" He suddenly stopped like there was something he didn't want to say.

I had to prompt him with something "So why did he get attacked"

"This might be a bit hard for you to hear-" Another pause as I prepared myself "He was attacked protecting you" I sat there in confusion and shock. "The villains knew that you were with him and wanted to kidnap you and Mic tried to protect you then he got attacked that is the long story short" All for me. He did that for me. I started to let a few tears out and we continued the interview. The rest of the interview was just asking other questions and I didn't learn a lot more about the events. The villains were indenting on kidnapping me then we don't know what they would do with me. They knew that I was with Mic so they threated to attack him if he didn't tell them where I was but he wanted to protect me so he did. That was all I was told. As soon as I got out I got a bus to the hospital because I needed to see him. It only took about five minutes on the bus from the station to the hospital.

When I arrived I manage to get into Mics room and saw that he was fast asleep so I decided to leave him alone. That was the shortest wait ever because he turned his head and said with so much excitement "Y/n, your here you actually came!"

"Of course I came I wouldn't just leave you all alone here" I let out a small chuckle.

"You know I love you so much and I will never stop loving you" I had a warmth fill in my heart and knew this was right and this was exactly what I needed in my life. And I felt exactly the same. 

"You know that I feel the same way about you and I always will" I truly meant it and I think that he needed to hear that.

"You don't even need to say it because I know that you feel that way" He ended in a way that sounded he had a bit more to say and he actually did. He started to say "The doctors said I might not manage to pull through"
