It was a normal night working at the radio station as a cleaner. This time my shift felt somehow longer. Time was going so slowly. Somehow it felt like I was out of place. As I walked down the hall, past the recording studios I stopped at a particular conversation that caught my ear. It was Present Mic's radio show. His show was always interesting to listen to too. His voice is so calming. I could listen to it forever. I just caught myself. I couldn't be falling again. Not after what happened. It was too dangerous to fall in love again. I was not ready. Anyways Mic isn't going to ever notice me. I was just the cleaner that just happens to be working at the same time. It was useless to start obsessing over him. I realised that I was standing right in behind his studio so I started to walk forward towards the storage room. Just at that moment as I started walking I heard him say "Now it is time to go to adverts".
The door opened behind me when I walked past and I jumped. It was him. "Good evening" I fell over my words. Instead of walking I started to speed walk. "Sorry, do you mind coming here? I need a bit of help" he asked. I was shocked. He wanted me to come into the room. Alone. I walked inside the room and asked "So, what do you need help with?" I asked. We just looked at each other for a while.
That's where it all started. That's where my life changed forever. This was just the beginning of an emotional roller-coaster.
