I just moved into my new apartment when my phone rang. I quickly tidied the room and picked it up. "Hey Jessie!" I said excitedly, "Hey" she replied. I haven't seen Jessie in a very long time. We were BFF'S since Kindergarten. She was the kind who didn't care about studies and normally got detentions whereas I was the not-so-nerdy and not-so-popular kinda student. Even though she was careless, she still cared about me. I was the one who helped her after her Grandma died and comforted her and supported her though the hard time.

"What are you doing? Like you new apartment? How long has it been since you moved in? What are you deci-" "WHOA hold your hat! Geez you talk so fast" I interrupted her. "Sorry" she said with a sad voice.

I dropped my phone and it went under my bed. I know I am so clumsy and dropped my phone like 100 times in the time space if 2 days.

When I picked it up, Jessie's face was like she had seen a ghost. Pale and white you almost have thought she was a ghost her self. I was about to say something when she put her finger on her mouth signifying to shush.

I saw that she was typing and when I received  a text I was looking like a ghost myself! She texted 'Run. There is a man under your bed. You need to get out NOW!'

I said to her that I needed to to go the toilet and I would call her later. She understood but texted me to not hang up. I went to the bathrooms locked my door and went out through the window. Luckily I was on the ground floor so I ended up landing in a pile of trash bags.

Later I went to her house (which was 1 kilometer away) and stayed there.

Later on, in the news I saw that CCTV had caught a strange and tall man standing outside my apartment's bathroom door holding a knife....
