Two years later

No one knew that mission would take so long. No one knew there would be as many issues, no one expected what happened to Ace.

The mission had been going great, they infiltrated the rival gang and had taken down most their men, and seized their drug distribution. They had been selling in their territory, and refused to stop. They couldn't let them get away with that, and they didn't. However, their gang didn't let them get away unscathed. Aliciana took more than one bullet protecting Andrew. Ace was almost dead when they got her to the temporary base they had been staying at, and it took Jay 12 hours to get her stable. It took Ace six months to wake up, and another six to get her strength back, her agility back, it was like relearning everything.

Andrew updated Terrance on her status everyday, and had been sending the money in for her. When Ace had initially woekn up, she was worried about her brother. Last time she had went in, she was told with in the year he would either be good to get out, or dead. He was neither. Ace wouldn't have been able to live with herself if he had died while she was out.

Today, they were back to where they had left from two years ago, she was nervous to be back. Should she try to get into contact with Naomi and the boys again? Ace didn't know, but figured after her disappearance they wouldn't want to see her.

While she still refused to stay with the gang at their domain, she wasn't homeless, not anymore. She had been able to put aside some money for a small apartment, which reminded her of how she left all her things at Bennett's, feeling guilty that he was burdened with having to move it all out.

The first thing Ace went to do was see Jude, and headed straight for his room. When the twins were reunited, they lit up and told each other stories they couldn't share over a phone and they talked for hours.

Maybe Ace tricked herself into thinks ng Jude was doing better, it's what she wanted to believe. Yet his sucken eyes and jaundice would say other wise. She should have noticed.

The two talked for hours, and hours. Laughing, joking, playing video games. She didn't leave until visiting hours were over, and got ready for work.

It had been so long since she had been here, that the card deal wouldn't work. She would have to go to the streets tonight to get customers. Stopping at her apartment, Ace picked out some fishnets, heels, a skirt so shirt her buttcheeks were hanging out, and a crop-top to fully pull the look together.

Most of the other girls on the streets looked worn, their eyes sunken and many had pick marks dotting their face.

"Well, look who's finally back.'' a woman said, Ace glancing back.

"Missed me doll? Or are you indimidated? Watch how you talk to me, and don't forget whose territory you are on." She stated as she watched cars drive by. Some regulars stopping to pick up their regular girl, but at the sight of a familiar car she froze, and felt the blood drain from her face. Each car door opened, and the four familiar figures started for her. No. Ace thought. She didn't want to explain herself. She couldn't explain herself. Ace wasn't much of a runner. She isn't fast, but can go for long distances. The heels wouldn't be helping either, but she took off. She could hear the clattering steps following suit, and it wasn't long before she felt a large hand grab her wrist, causing her to stumble. Luckily, the man who had caught her made sure she didn't fall.

"Ace?" Naomi spoke first. Ace looked at each of them, mixed emotions rested in each of their eyes.

"Long time no see." She mutters sheepishly.

"What the hell happened to you, Ace. You disappeared for two years." Declan spoke up. Even though he was glaring fiercely at her, she could see the hurt she caused resting behind the exterior.
