The three of them started to walk around the forest they were currently in.
"Do you think we might be t-trapped here..?" Chihiro said quietly. "Perhaps. There must be some kind of shelter around here though." Celestia said in her stern voice.
As Chihiro was walking around, he stepped on an unnoticeable stick. "Eek!" He squealed. "Are you okay over there, Fujisaki?" Kyoko said in a louder voice than usual, due to them being slightly far from each other. He replied with just a tiny, "Yes!"
The three of them were all scattered all around the incredibly large forest. Celestia started slowly approaching what seemed to be a large gate. She couldn't see it too well since it was a bit far off into the distance, but her guess was correct.
"Kirigiri, Chihiro! I seem to have made a discovery." She called out. "We're coming, don't worry." Kyoko yelled in reply.
It was quite a struggle for the two to reach Celeste's location. They had to get there based off of how far Celestia's voice sounded. They all looked at the gate in question. Kyoko began to speak up, "It seems to be a large and mysterious gate. Let's investigate, but be careful of course." She said.
They all slowly trudged forward towards the gateway. Once they were only two inches away from the gate, they started examining and touching the gate.
"I believe we have investigated enough. We may not get any more clues from the outside." Kyoko said. "If that's the case, maybe we should go inside." Celestia said. "Got it.." Chihiro whispered.
They all struggled to open the gate. They gripped the polls on the gate. They put all of their force into opening it. Nothing worked.
Kyoko let out a sigh. "We may not successfully open it. It's better to investigate more instead of try to open this when we know it's too sturdy for our strength." She said. "I suppose so. Let's continue searching." Celestia said. Chihiro nodded in agreement.
They carefully examined the area. "It looks almost abandoned. As if people used to visit this forest, but they stopped coming for some reason." Kyoko thought. However this was just a guess.
All of a sudden, the three teenagers felt an odd feeling. It was as if they were shrinking at a rapid speed. "Eek!" Chihiro yelped. "D-Did you guys feel that?!" He said to Kyoko and Celeste. "Indeed.. What could it have been?" Celestia said.
"I've noticed something odd.. I feel a lot shorter. You two look like the average high of a 10 year old for whatever reason." Kyoko said. She was exactly right. Well, at least for Celeste. Chihiro, on the other hand looked just about his normal height.
"I could say the same for you, Kyoko." Celestia said, "Perhaps we did shrink a bit. I suppose it could be a clue. If it is a clue, I do certainly hope it can help us figure out where we are."
"Let's just continue our investigation." Kirigiri said, clearly wanting to know more about their situation. They weren't the only ones trying to find out what was going on. Everyone else back at the school was as well. Endless questions ran through their heads as they attempted to solve this puzzle.
Chihiro, Celestia and Kyoko were all still in question about many things. They had to put their questions to the side so they could focus on investigating.
Chihiro saw a medium-size house a bit far back into the forest. "Um.. G-Guys.... I think may have.. found something." He says. "What does it look like?" Kyoko questioned. "It seems to be some sort of medium building.. Should we.. g-go over there..?"
"If it's truly the only way we can gain more evidence, then I suppose so. Let's get over there." Kyoko announces.
The now shrunken trio began to approach the building..
sorry about the cliffhanger! I didn't really have any more ideas for this part so I figured I'd post it as this.
