Maddox

Pearl's POV:

I woke up feeling comfortable than ever.

"Leandro'' I yelled

"Yes Mi Cielo" He yelled back. Before I could put my feet on the ground. I felt someone carry me.

"Put me down Leandro'' I giggled.

"Wrong guy," the man said. He sounded like the guy who tried to choke me. Why is he after me? what did I do?

" She told you to put...Her...Down"

The man put me down on my feet. I ran and hid behind Leandro like a little child.

Damn it I thought I was badass.

" Why are you doing this Maddox" Leandro yelled.

Maddox is his brother. His brother tried hurting me.

but why would he do that?

" We need you back for a mission" Maddox deadpanned. He looked a lot like Leandro, but uglier. Sorry not sorry.

"Why would you hurt her," Leandro ignored his brother. His brother didn't reply.

"No, I'm not doing the mission" Leandro replied not giving Maddox time to speak. Leandro grabbed my hand and caressed it with his thumb.

"It's not your choice," Maddox said grabbing me and putting a knife to my throat. Tears started rolling down my cheeks.

I won't get my happy ending after all.

Joking... I kicked him in a not very nice spot and kicked him tripping him sending his body to the floor. Leandro looked at me wide-eyed and I could tell he was trying to contain his laughter biting his lip.

''Don't touch her again '' Leandro shouted. I ran to Leandro and stood beside him.

"I'll keep her alive if you help us," Maddox said trying to convince Leandro.

"No, If I help you, you leave us alone!"

"Fine" Maddox gave in.

Suddenly he looked kinda friendly.

I'll make him my friend.

Leandro's POV:

"I'm sorry Mi Cielo, I didn't mean to get you in this mess" I sighed. I couldn't look at her, I was ashamed. She could've lived a normal life, but I ruined that chance.

"It's ok, as long as I'm with you lover boy," she said.

"I also get to meet your family!" She exclaimed looking out the car. We are back in Italy. I'm sure she'll be disappointed but mama will love her.

"We're here," I said with an uneasy tone.

"Holy, this is a really big 'house' " I laughed at how childish she was. She always looked on the bright side. My family was about to kill her and she's excited about meeting them. I shook my head mentally at my thoughts.

"Our uncle is here with our family by the way," Maddox said.  I hated my uncle but at least Adelia is here. I love her soo much, she is the only one who would keep me company. I'm sure she'll love pearl.

The door opened revealing my father. I didn't look him in the eye; I completely ignored him.

"Baby I missed you," I said running to Adelia. I hugged her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She returned the kiss with a big sloppy one.

"Who's that?" Adelia asked with her baby voice.

"She is - um?" I stuttered trying to find an answer. Pearl and I didn't put any labels.

"Beautiful" Adelia finished my sentence running to pearl with her tiny feet.

Adelia is only 4 but she is very smart. She is the cutest baby I've ever seen. Her hair is blonde and always in two buns. She has blue eyes that were like her mother.

I missed her a lot.

she ran towards pearl and hugged her. Pearl rested Adelia on her hip as she talked to pearl about something, but I couldn't help smiling at her carrying Adelia.  She looked so cute holding Adelia.

I wish it was our child she was carrying.
