Koga

I had never really loved Ayame. I had married her to unite the packs, and to bring peace. But I had never really loved her. When she had died, leaving absolutely no heirs, the packs were still united, but they really needed a queen. I knew I could get a little overbearing, and these loons all needed a woman's steady and strong hand. I knew I needed to either find a new wife, or I needed to give up the throne. There was no way in hell that I was giving up my position. I remembered Kagome, but then I also remembered that she was married to that mutt faced Inutrasha. I wanted to wring his neck for taking my Kagome away from me. Then, Ginta and Hakaku had told me that Inuyasha and Kagome had a daughter that was old enough to marry. And that she looked remarkably like her mother.

Perfect. I thought to myself as I ran towards the human village. Not only will I get a new wife, but I'll also get back at the mutt, and I'll get a small piece of the woman I love.

*********

I neared the village, and the horrible smell of dog bombarded my senses. I wrinkled my nose distastefully, but I continued running. Ginta and Hakaku screamed at me to stop and to let them catch up, but I ran on ahead. I saw the giant archway that marked the beginning of the village, and playing near it were several small children with a few parents watching them. I flew by, causing some of the kids to fall over in my wake. I heard their cries but didn't stop. Finally up ahead, I saw dog breath. His hair had a little more silver than white in it now, and I presumed that it was because he was getting old. Kagome looked as beautiful as ever, even with being as pregnant as she was. I clenched my fists when I saw her huge stomach, and I ran a little faster. Mutt face and Kagome walked up to meet me, and I stopped right in front of them. The wind stopped after a second, and they could all see me clearly.

“Whaddaya want you mangy wolf?” Inuyasha growled at me. I smirked at him, amused by his outright rudeness. Then I feigned hurt.

“What? No hello? No how are you?” I put a hand over my heart dramatically. “I'm wounded dog breath.” A young girl that looked a lot like the dog stepped forward and stood next to Inuyasha.

“You've got some nerve talking to my dad like that.” she said in a soft voice, fangs bared, big purple eyes glaring at me.

Oh God she was beautiful. She had these big violet eyes, and her father's white hair, only her hair almost went to the floor. Her face was built like her mother's, but her figure came from somewhere else. She wore the same outfit as Kagome, except with a red scarf holding her hair back.

I shook my head to snap myself out of my daze. “Oh yeah? And who's gonna stop me doll face?” Her pale face flushed a light pink, and then suddenly turned a darker shade. Then mutt face pushed her behind him.

“Don't you dare talk to my daughter like that Koga. You stay away from her.” Damn, I didn't expect him to be this possessive. I was hoping he would kinda be the laid back kind of dad. Then again, I should've known better, seeing how possessive he'd been of Kagome.

“That would defeat my purpose of coming here mutt.” I rolled my eyes and then looked to Kagome. I smiled and then went to stand in front of her. “Hey Kagome, long time no see. You've been well I hope.” Kagome smiled kindly at me.

“Koga, it's nice to see you as well. What's with the sudden visit though? We weren't expecting you.” At this point I became uncomfortable.

“Actually I have to talk to you about something very important Kagome.” I looked over at the girl, and I saw her big eyes staring at me curiously. “And it has to do with your beautiful daughter here.”

Her eyes widened, and Kagome nodded.

“Ami, why don't you go play with the younger kids alright?” the demon slayer said to the girl. Ami, apparently, opened her mouth to protest, but was cut off by her mother.

“Yes, why don't you go watch them while we all talk? Please, it would be a big help.” Ami looked from woman to woman, and then at me.

“Sorry kid, I ain't gonna go against your mom.” I folded my arms over my chest and smirked at her. She glared at me, but then she turned around and jumped into the tree behind us. I watched her take off to the big hill on the other side of the village. Oh yeah, she would make a great wife. She did what she was told, she was beautiful, and would probably make me quite a few great kids.

“What do you want with my daughter Koga?” Inuyasha growled at me. I turned around and looked at him. He was livid, and he probably thought I wanted to kill her or something. His ears were flat against his head, his teeth bared, and I could really see the father daughter resemblance. I chuckled under my breath and then looked from him to Kagome.

“I want to marry her.”
