Eren POV.
I can’t believe I kissed him. I thought as we walked back to the dorms. He didn’t say a word. He HAD kissed me back, right? Or was that just my drunken memory? Oh my God he was probably so pissed at me. Why had he stayed on the tower with me?
We reached the dorms. He held the door. I muttered a thanks but refused to look at him. Walking up to our rooms I heard a noise. It sounded like… “Armin!” I cried rushing up the remaining steps. I reached the landing to find him on the floor, under a pile of clothing. The clothing moved. Erwin sat up.
“Armin are you ok?” He asked reaching for the kid. I was between them an instant later.
“Hey, what happened?” I asked him fixing his shirt.
“He was…” Erwin began I glared at him. Armin snorted.
“I’m fine, Eren. I was just coming back from the bathroom. I think Erwin was coming out the door.” He muttered allowing me to help him to his feet. I saw Levi offering his friend a hand.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t see him. I was still…”
“When you share a room with a blind person you have to be their eyes as well.” I snarled. “Not seeing him is not an excuse.” I pulled Armin's hand to my elbow. Sometimes it felt like an anchor sitting there.
“You ready for breakfast?” I asked him. He nodded.
“Shouldn’t you shower first?” Levi asked. Armin's hand went to my chest.
“Did you spend the night on the tower, again?” He asked.
“I’m fine. I'll shower later.”
“I can take Armin to breakfast.” Erwin offered.
“I think you've…” I started to retort.
“That would be great. Thank you Erwin.” Armin's hand left mine. I was adrift as I watched him reach for the taller blonde. Erwin gave him a small warm smile as he tucked his hand into his elbow.
“I really am sorry.” Erwin stated. Armin beamed as they headed toward the stairs.
“I know.”
“Be careful, the stairs…” I yelled starting to rush forward. Levi caught my arm, Erwin placed Armin's free hand on the railing. I was locked in a crazy fright as I watched my blind best friend begin to walk down the steps. Erwin had his head bent talking to him.
“Erwin's mother was blind. He knows what to do.” Levi said. I could just stare wide eyed as the pair slipped from sight. Armin was gone. I tried to breath.
“He'll be OK, stop mother henning him!”  Levi’s sharp tone pierced my mind.
“I have to hurry…” I rushed to shower and change. When I got downstairs, Armin waited in the foyer. He was laughing with Erwin about something. In his hands was a wrapped bundle.
“Eren, I saved you breakfast.” He called across the crowded area. I walked up to him.
“How'd you know it was me?” I asked accepting the bundle. It turned out to be toast, a banana and a dry sausage patty on a roll. At least he held the coffee too. Armin chuckled.
“You always jump the last step, then squeak your shoe as you come around the banister. Besides, I could smell your after shave.” He giggled.
“Liar.” I chuckled. He didn’t let go of Erwin as we all headed toward class. Levi had a similar bundle as mine. The blond’s gave us the coffee when we were ready for it. As I took my first sip I felt Armin's small hand slip onto my elbow. He was smiling in the sunlight. I sighed. How could I be upset with that face?
The day went by like always. I found myself, once more, watching the mysterious Levi. He had drawn my attention since the first day. For one, he was small, yet one hell of a fighter. Two he was super hot! Seeing him in those swim trunks yesterday had me finding my private place to relieve myself. Then watching him dance. They way he moved those hips…. I was starring at the back of his head as I day dreamed about him.
“Mister Yeager, I doubt the answer is on the back of Mr. Ackerman's head!” the math teacher yelled. And yes I could tell she used the full spelling of Mr. For my name and the shortened version for Levi. I sighed lowering my hand that I was resting my head on.
“Sorry, ma'am, I didn’t sleep well last night. I didn’t realize I was starring at Mr. Ackerman. My apologies.” I bowed my head to both of them.
“Very well, now come up here and solve this problem.” I stood. Truth was I sucked at school, mostly. Math was the one thing I excelled at. It took me three minutes to solve the problem, that included showing my work. I lowered the chalk. She glared at me.
“Go sit down. Does anyone have any questions as how, Mr. Yeager solved this?” Half of the room raised their hands. I snorted when I saw one of them was Levi.
“Get into pairs to work on the problem sheet. I will come around to assist with any questions.” She called out frowning. No fewer than six people surrounded my desk. One being Levi.
“Take seats.” I gestured around. As quietly as I could I simplified the examination helping them all to understand how to solve these types of problems.
“You sound like Erwin.” Levi said as we walked out of class. “He wants to be a teacher, did you know that?” he asked. This was the first time he had spoken to me since I had kissed him.
“No, but that’s cool. I only get math.” I stated. Armin's hand found my elbow and I led him to our next class. He hated using his stick when the halls were so crowded. I didn’t mind, most of the time.
At lunch I took Armin to our usual spot. Jean, Marco and Connie were already there. Connie was yelling at another kid for stealing his French fry. I chuckled.
“Is there room for two more?” turning I saw Erwin with his Levi shaped shadow waiting to sit down.
“Of course. I wouldn’t have invited you otherwise!” Armin chuckled. What was this? Did he make a new friend? I mean everyone liked him, he was just that kind of person. It’s just when it came to helping him, to taking care of him, well that was my job. Armin was smiling happily as Erwin sat on the other side of him. They quickly began discussing some book they were both reading.
“Are you being replaced?” Connie asked.
“They both look happy.” A weird guy named Hange stated as he starred longingly at the pair. I kicked him.
“Stop being a perv!” I hissed. He chuckled. Was I being replaced?
“I don’t think anyone could replace Eren in Armin's view. He is a loyal friend. But Armin should have the opportunity to be able to make new friends, don’t you think?” Those steel grey eyes rose to meet mine. Levi sounded bored as usual. His steely grey eyes priced my head. I blinked looking away.
Connie started a rap battle with Hange. The auburn haired Hange was getting so into it. It was clear he had no clue what was going on. We were all laughing by the end of it. The bell rang. I reached for Armin. Erwin stood beside him.
“We have the next class together. I could take him, that way you won’t be late to your class.” He looked at me with puppy dog blue eyes. Armin was scary smart, therefore he was in a lot of advanced classes. Math and science were really the only ones I could keep up with him in.
“A a Armin, I’s t that okay?” I stammered. I had never had help with him before. No that wasn’t true. I never allowed anyone to help me with him. Armin was my responsibility.
“Yeah, it's cool. See you at dinner, Eren.” He waved as the tall blond led him away. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t take my eyes off of his disappearing back. A hand fell to my shoulder.
“They grow up so fast.” Connie bemoaned. Was that my problem? This feeling in my chest like I was losing something?
“Don’t look at it like you're losing Armin. Look at it as more like you are regaining your freedom.” Marco grinned. I couldn’t help it, never had I been more pissed at someone. My fist hit his gut before anyone could move. I was on top of him pounding him into the ground. Strong powerful arms wrapped around my waist. I was yanked back. I tried elbowing the guy in the face, but it wasn’t where I thought it should be. Blinking stupidly I stared at Levi. How had this little runt pulled me away by himself?
“Come in!” He grabbed my hand and ran. Not toward the building where our next class was. Nope he ran into the woods. He didn’t stop until he reached the ladder. Bending over he placed his hands on his knees as he fought to regain his breath. I was doing the same since he could run really fucking fast. He was able to compose himself first. He slapped me across the face.
It wasn’t hard, just enough to shock me. Before I could say anything he attacked. Leaping up he smashed into my chest. I stumbled back. Being so surprised by this I could only catch his body as it smashed into me. I staggered into the cement wall. Grabbing at the tiny body in my arms.
He yanked my hair pulling my head up. “You're a fucking brat, Eren Yeager.” He growled. Then, to my utter amazement, he pressed his lips to mine. I was to stunned to even return the kiss right away. It wasn’t until I felt his teeth on my lower lip that I broke from the stupefaction.
My eyes closed slowly. I opened my mouth to allow his tongue inside. My arms clutched him against me as I hungrily returned the kiss. Our tongues fought inside my mouth. At one point I managed to pin his to the roof of my mouth. He snorted, twisted it around and somehow got a hold of mine. He sucked it into his own mouth. Licking over the top of it he twirled his around mine.
I wasn’t sure how long we stayed locked together like this, we only broke apart to catch our breaths. I starred into those steel grey eyes.
“Why am I a brat?” I asked. It was the first thing that popped into my head. Another shock came when I saw his smile. It was small, curving only one side of his lips, but, my God, did it make him look even hotter.
“Because I said so.” He teased. I couldn’t help smiling back at him. My hands were cupped under his ass, holding him up as we stood there starring at each other with these stupid grins on our face.
“Just fucking kiss me, alright!” He snarled I chuckled, obliging him. Gently I pressed my mouth to his, but I wanted more than just to taste his mouth. His sun darkened skin intrigued me. I pulled away, yanking his collar away from his neck. My mouth kissed him. I laughed as he shivered when I licked him, he elbowed me in the neck.
“Don’t that’s gross.” He muttered. I chuckled.
“I lick to claim what’s mine.” I teased. Reversing our positions I pressed him against the tower. Our mouths found each others once more.
