On my way to meet Dream I think about what Tommy had said. "Who knew a British person could be bad?" I mumbled. Angry and sad but mostly disappointed were what I felt at the moment. I trusted Eret and I never suspected him to be one to betray us but, as he had said himself, it was never meant to be. I started to think about all the people who were relying on me and hoped that I wouldn't let them down. Y/n, she hasn't been with us for a long time but still is a big part of our group at this point and I feel sorry for dragging her into this mess. As I walked through the dark I felt a bit helpless and a tiny bit lost.
Dream, there he is. "I'm unarmed", I stated. "I'm alone but I'm very armed." The guy who was unhealthily green sounded pretty happy and it was obvious he felt great about what had happened. Obviously, as he didn't want us to be independent. "Okay, that's fine. I can't really, I'm not in a bargaining position here." In the cold night I hoped to make the best out of this. "Look, Dream, I can't believe you would you- you'd put up our own man against us. You had a spy on the inside the whole time." Thinking about how we trusted Eret makes me angry again and to top it off Dream gives a short laugh. "All is fair in war and, and-" he starts but I interrupt him only to complete the sentence with "And love". Almost immediately he agrees. "That's true, that's true." We continue the path towards our destination and I lose sight of Dream for a while but he isn't far because I can still hear his steps.
"I'm at the remains of the embassy." I state and let my eyes wander around only to see Dream with one of his men. When taking a closer look I was able to see that it was Purpled. "Please send your man away." We agreed on meeting alone, only the both of us, so this was not it. "Yeah, he just was, I don't think he knows what's going on." That made me laugh, though I was still just as nervous as before. Taking a deep breath I began. "Dream, your men essentially did great wrong against my people. I, I let it go, I let it slide on the condition that we would have emancipation from you, we'd have our freedom and we wouldn't have to reach a point of, uh" I struggled to find the right words, "disagreement now, obviously this didn't sit well with you. You didn't like the fact that I didn't whitelist you on my server, that's my server over there by the way. See that in the distance? We've suffered a lot of losses, both sides, my side a bit more heavily I'd say, a tiny bit more heavily than yours, you know, not by much but we've both suffered great losses on both sides." Just as I wanted to continue I heard a familiar voice uttering "Gentlemen". Tommy followed me, which is annoying because I told him to stay put and I also had hoped Y/n would get him to stay. "Tommy leave." He sounds like he wants to tell us something but I'm not having it. "Tommy, you are dismissed." And before I can say another word he's calling Dream a son of a bitch. Thanks, that definitely made things easier. "Tommy," I'm still somewhat calm, "you are dismissed." Finally, he makes his way back.
I sigh and turn back to Dream. "Sorry about that, anyway, Dream, I'm here to make a negotiation with you." He only gives an "Okay". "We don't wish for bloodshed, we don't wish for war, we don't wish to show our power in any way, we just want freedom." Taking a step closer to me, Dream proceeds to ask a question. "Would you like to know what I want?" I nod. "What do you want Dream?" Taking a step closer to me, looking over to my Lmanberg, he states his conditions. "I want white flags up inside your land, I want white flags up so surrender declaring it's not an independant land, that it is a part of the dream team SMP." Sighing again, I seem to be doing this a lot, I state the obvious. " We're at an impasse."
"Well, I will tell you this, if, if that does not happen in the next thirty minutes I will blow up all of Lmanberg, I have the-" Stunned, I answer him "You don't have the power or the capacity to blow up Lmanberg". Dream seems completely calm and what he says next sends a wave of panic through my whole body. "Okay, let's go to it, let's go to it right now." "What have you done?" Ignoring my question he gives me an ultimatum. "I will ask you one last time, when we get to Lmanberg, preferably in front of everybody, all of the traitors," "Traitors, traitors?" Now that is not what we are. "Revolutionaries, Dream, you can call us whatever you want with your, with your flicking tongue but it means nothing, you little lizard snake thing. Look at you, little green, little green lizard snake thing, who do you think you are?" Maybe it's not the best to mock him at the moment but I honestly don't care at all. He's hurt us so much and yet demands us to surrender. "I am powerful!" He declares but honestly? "Oh, yeah, why don't you show us how powerful you are? Then, look, bring them in." I tell him.
There's Fundy and he asks what probably all of them want to know.
