I carried the discs back to the medical center, curious what Tommy wanted them for. When I took my first steps into the center, I already saw Tommy sitting up. Man was a real fighter. "I got the discs Tommy" I said while waving the discs up, trying to get his attention. "Hm?" He looked up and laid his book away while a huge smile grew on his lips. "You're a real lifesaver (Y/n)!" Tommy said, trying to stand up from his Bed.
I set the discs on a nearby table, rushing to Tommy to support him while he took small steps towards the discs, picking them up. He then shook me by saying "I can walk myself" before reaching for his discs. "I missed you guys so much." He said while giving both discs kisses, which made me chuckle. "What do you need them for?" I asked him. Tommy turned his head to me, suddenly looking kinda sad. "I want to make a deal with Dream." he began. "My hope is that when I give Dream both of my discs, he will grant us our Freedom." Tommy sighed
"Oh wow Tommy...what...what if he wont." I asked him. "Then I don't know what to do." He starts laughing, even though it sounded pitiful. "Well (y/n). Don't Tell Wilbur when he asks where I am. I want to surprise him with our Freedom. If we don't get it, I will simply just don't tell him." He smiled. I sighed before nodding and giving him a thumbs up with a forced smile. I know I couldn't stop him. Tommy is Tommy. Before he left, I gave him a quick hug before seeing how he got ready, looked out the door, side to side before sprinting away.
I leaned against the doorframe, watching Tommy running away while I was shaking my head, smiling to myself, thinking how life was better when you were a child. Being naive, thinking you could do anything. When I was back in reality, I walked towards Nikis and my house. Before I could even turn the doorknob, someone tabbed on my shoulder. I expected to see Wilbur but to my surprise I saw Tubbo! "Do you know why Tommy ran out of Lmanburg?"
I wanted to say why he ran out, but then I remembered what Tommy told me. Do not tell Wilbur. But Tubbo probably will tell Wilbur if I tell him. "He...is probably going to wash himself in the river. Would be weird if I did it." I answered him, giving an awkward smile, hoping he would believe my lie. To my luck, he did. Giving me a quick smile and nod before walking away again. Once he was far enough so he couldn't hear me, I let out a huge sigh of relief. But I just need to let this secret out to someone.
I just couldn't let it rest on me. Then I knew who I could trust not to tell anyone. Niki. I sprinted to our house, hoping to find her. "Niki?!" I yelled once I opened the door and stepped inside. "Back here!!" I heard her voice in the hindmost corner of our house. Walking there, I saw her putting some flowers on old chests which almost seemed ancient. "Can I tell you something? Make sure to promise me to not tell anyone! Especially not Wilbur!!" She raised a brow at me, before letting it fall again, giving me a smile and raising her pinky finger.
"Pinky promise" She smiled while I intervened with her pinky finger. "Okay...so" I sat down next to her. "Tommy is right now outside of Lmanburg. Probably by dream right now. He wants to trade both of his discs to dream, to gain Lmanburgs freedom." I spoke. When I was nervous, I always spoke very fast, so I almost sounded like Enimen in Rap god. But luckily Niki still understood me. I could tell by how shocked Niki looked at me. "And you didn't stop him?!" She asked me. "Well...i don't think Dream is going to hurt Tommy again. Wilbur will go nuts! And i also want Lmanburgs Freedom so..." I sighed "I didn't..."
Niki looked at me, I couldn't make out her emotions. "Okay...i...kinda understand i guess." She said. I wanted to speak up before I heard yelling and cheers from outside. When I looked outside, I saw Tommy. No discs in his hands. Did he actually do it? Do we finally have our Freedom? Niki and I ran outside, towards Tommy, seeing already a big grape of every member of Lmanburg around him. "(Y/n)!" He smiled and brought me into a big hug. "I did it!!" He laughed. Before I could hug him back, an angry wilbur stepped between us.
"(y/n) I need to talk with you." He said cold, straight and angry which made me gulp. He grabbed my shoulder, dragging me away from the group. When we were far enough away, he held the space between his eyebrows with his fingers. "So...you knew Tommy was outside by Dream, probably risking his life...and you didn't tell me?!" He yelled at me, making me feel sad and guilty. "Well yes" I started my argument. "Tommy and I wanted to surprise everyone!"
I gave him a small smile, in hope he wouldn't be as mad at me as he did before. He just sighed and shook his head. "Just...please tell me next time...I know Dream and the Dream Team better than you. They are really dangerous." He said before taking my Hand and dragging me back to everyone, his personality changing completely. "Now you can finally be our leader again Wilbur!!" Tommy cheerfully smiled.
"But I don't want to look like a kind of dictator."
