The door creaked open, and a worn out Yuki walked in, she looked woozy, like she was thinking hard about something. She disrobed her uniform and rested on the bed with white sleeved shirt that was underneath it. Nobara was on her bed, skimming through an old novel, and laid her eyes on the girl, she looked so spaced out.

"How did it go, Yukki?" she asked, calling the girl by the cute nickname, "You look like you're thinking hard." She lowered her head to face her, but the brunette had her face burrowed in her palms.

"He asked me out, tomorrow, pastries, 9AM sharp," the girl replied in a teeny tiny voice, a blush was visible even through her hands. "just the two of us, alone, eating donuts!"

"Donuts? At your sacred place?"

"Yes, that one, how did he even know that I go there all the time, anyways, stupid Fushiguro and his nice deeds,"complained the girl, slightly groaning.

"Really? So I was right, he really did asked you out. Good for you, he's a great guy, I mean, I think he is," she laughed, "how do you feel about it, then? You look a bit under the weather since you came in." Nobara closed her novel and placed it on the table, she dragged herself near the girl to hear her small voice.

"I've been thinking, thinking that.."

"I don't know Nobara..recently I got this fuzzy feeling," continued the girl, uncovering her face and looking up at the ceiling. She paused for a little, but then continued in a squeakier voice than before, one that was almost a whisper, "about him, you know."

"Ugh," she continued to sulk, "it's weird, what is it? Feels like a fever. I've got it since I saw him return with those bags of kikufuku."

"Such stupid sweets."

Nobara crawled up and sat down next to the girl, putting her legs on the cold bed frame and leaned backwards, giggling, "Sounds like you like him, Yukki."

"Like?" Yuki squealed, then quickly covered her mouth after. Her eyes widened and her mouth formed an O shape. "Like like or like like?"

"How would I know, dumbass? Anyways, sort out these feelings after that date of yours tomorrow, Yukki. I think he'll like you back, and anyways, who wouldn't fall for you?"

"Nobara!" the girl screamed, getting up to poke her friend and hiding her red-faced self, "I don't like him, at all. He's a friend, and it's like one of those dates, not romantic shit!"

"Look who's face all red then," she sighed, laughing hysterically.

"I'm not red! I just have a fever, that's all, but I'll be fine tomorrow don't worry," she fussed, then started toying with her fingers, restless. The ginger didn't dare to say another word, knowing that the girl would fume with anger if she added another joke, so she stayed silent, before exhaling to ease the tension.

"If you don't mind though Yukki, I'll help you pick out clothes, to impress your little crush-chan," she suggested, getting up from her spot. The blanket was crumpled.

She motioned towards the tall closet that came with the dorm. It had posters of jazz bands and magazine covers stuck on it though peeling off due to lack of adhesion ; polaroids of the students and teachers, and ones from the exchange event.

In the picture they were all smiling, the blue-haired girl and the ones with upright, blonde hair, with an aristocratic looking male with a composed look on his face. Next to it were photos of the girl with her blindfolded teacher posing before an old statue, and ones where they were chased out of that place.
