The clock stroke 10, minutes were turning into hours of listening to curse objects happenings and reports, but his eyes were only on her.

Yuki looks tired today, he thought, after seeing her yawn for the hundredth time that morning. She had wounds and bruises from her last mission, which were still visible even though it's been a week. Megumi flicked his pen around, still staring at the girl, thinking and thinking and thinking, then an idea popped into his head.

He hesitated for a moment, holding back his loud breaths, but then grabbed his pen, reassuring himself at the gist of the moment, it's not a crush, you're just being nice to her.

Megumi teared a small square of paper from his notebook and scribbled something quickly, then folded it in quarters, smearing the corners with his caressing fingers. Then he passed it to the ginger-haired classmate sitting next to him, his heart pounding ever so fast.

Let's hope this works.

"Psst."

"Pssst," the boy tried once more, "Kugisaki, psst!"

Nobara turned around to a sight of her classmate wearing a rare blush, looking away at the corner of his table. He put his hand forward, holding a small piece of paper. The paper was waving around, signaling her to take it. "Can you give this to Yuki?"

"What's this, a love letter?" she scoffed at the boy's antics, "Fushiguro I never knew you were the old-fashioned type." She took the note from his hand and examined every wrinkle. Trying to peek at the note, she tilted her head, only to be interrupted by a frantic Megumi.

"Don't open it, dumbass!" he whispered loudly over the sound of his teacher analyzing a diagram of a cursed object. "And that's not a love letter, I just wanted to ask her something."

"Hm, is that so." she continued, "Why don't you wait after sensei's report? We're in a middle of a lesson, Fushiguro."

"I just need you to pass the note to her," he pleaded while bedazzling her with his pen-flicking moves.

"Then tell me what it's about! I can't have you two badmouthing me across the classroom," she sighed, tosing the note back onto the desk.

"I'm not! We're not in preschool," ridiculed the boyc "just hurry."

"Tell me, are you asking her out or something?"

"N-no. The thing I'm trying to say is well.." Megumi stumbled on his words, and right when he realized it, it was too late, "it would be embarrassing to say it in person. That's why I asked you."

"So it's a love letter after all," she giggled and placed the hand over her mouth, "you're cute when you're embarrassed, Fushiguro."

"It's not, it's something important," he halved a lie, "Just give it to her, Kugisaki."

Nobara sighed and looked at him with ease, "Really? Well I heard that you're her type, but I guess you don't need that information anymore~"

Megumi tensed up and looked away, hiding the pink blush from before, which made the ginger chuckle in a sarcastic tone, "T-tell me more? I heard Itadori-"

"Why would I lie, besides, I've never seen you like this before, all embarrassed. You always have your shit together all the time."

"W-what else did she say?" he mumbled.

"You have to ask her in person, scaredy cat. I'm not giving this to her," she waved the paper around, imitating his action from before, "I'm keeping it."
