Sky, Timmy, and Riven sat in the cockpit of their ship as Riven flew the team over the gloomy woods. "You know Sky," Timmy said, turning towards the brown haired specialist, "I have a strange feeling that something's about to happen."
Sky didn't look up from the map he beheld as he said, "Something fun or really bad?"
Timmy shrugged and turned back to face the front. "I don't know. Something."
"Relax, Timmy," Riven said as he grasped the ship yoke in his hands. "Let's just worry about dropping this guy off and then we can contemplate your weird ass premonitions."
The automatic doors to the cockpit opened and Rhonan sauntered in, his hand resting on the sword handle strapped to his belt. He beheld the other three men in his unit strapped into their chairs, Sky with a map in his hand and Timmy typing away on a small device.
"How's it going back there?" Sky said, still studying his map.
"Alright, the prisoner is calm and-" Rhonan stopped mid sentence as the aircraft jolted beneath him. He stumbled forward, grabbing the back of Timmy's chair with his blue-siphoned hand. Timmy let out a curse as his device fell from his hand and clattered across the floor.
Riven pulled hard on the yoke and righted the plane. The sound of the ship's jets filled the air as they kicked into high gear.
Once the ship was stable again, Rhonan finally removed his hand from the back of Timmy's chair. He let out a nervous chuckle. "Guess I spoke too soon." Rhonan said, glancing towards the door.
The ship's computer system started beeping. "Great, what now?" Riven said as he flipped switches and checked the ship controls.
Timmy moved his chair closer to the ship's main computer. "That's strange.." He said, leaning over a large screen beside Riven. "It looks like... Something struck the ship from the outside." He said, pointing at the computers.
"That's impossible." Riven said. Another strong jolt struck the ship, causing Rhonan to stumble forward once again.
With a grunt, Riven scooted his chair over to the right to make room for Timmy, a silent order.
Timmy pulled his chair forward until it clicked into place before the ship's controls and threw on a headset, as if he and Riven had practiced doing this a million times. Timmy spoke into the headset "turn on co-pilot", and the buttons on the dashboard in front of Timmy lit up in different flashing colors.
Rhonan threw himself into a seat and buckled his seatbelt, the cacophony of beeping filling the small cabin of the ship. Timmy furiously typed away on the ship mainframe, trying to reroute something, anything, to get them back at cruising altitude. "Timmy, fix this." Riven barked.
"This is futile, the ship's mainframe is all messed up, and we can't access the control panel while we're in the air." Timmy said over the loud beeping. "The thrusters are gone, that's why we're losing altitude.
"Fuck." Riven said, trying to stabilize the ship. The ship continued to descend, passing through white fluffy clouds. The ship shook violently as it got closer and closer to the ground.
As the ship pummeled towards the Earth, Rivens siphoned glowed purple as he threw up a shield around his body and used his magic to assemble a purple helmet on head. He grasped the ship controls. He would try to land this thing the best he could. "Prepare for impact."
As the faeries walked through the swamp, their heads snapped up to the sky as they heard a blast and the sound of metal.
Flora shielded her eyes from the sun with her hand, and allowed her eyes to trail upwards. "I can't see, is that a red fountain ship?"
