final part of the disobedient!
Julie's POV:
unfortunately for us, we still have to go to school
since me and luke are only juniors, we have to finish this year to be able to drop out
reggie "accidentally" told someone that i was pregnant and word got around very quickly
as i walk in the hallways i see that almost everyone is starring at me
"what do you think your looking at?" i tell a group of people laughing at me
"awww is the wittle baby mad" one of the students in the group says
"you know someone who acts like a baby, shouldn't be having one" another person jumps in
"you better watch your mouth bitch" luke says coming up behind me punching the guys who were making fun of me
"well if it isn't the baby daddy. or i suppose. is she a slut and a bitch?" the boy says
"yeah he's also my boyfriend so if i were you i'd leave" i tell him
"am i supposed to be scared?" the boy asks
then luke punch's him in the face
i few punches get thrown until things get a lot worse
not for luke of course, for the other guy
"patterson, reynolds" the principal yells
shit now luke's gonna get in trouble
i walk with luke to the principals office
"i want to talk to miss molina and mr patterson" the principal says
"so what? is luke in trouble for defending me?" i ask
"no. but he still shouldn't have done that" principal lessa explains
"so can we go?" luke asks
"no i want to talk to you about the rumor that your pregnant" principal lessa says pointing at me
"what do you want to know about it?" i ask
"is it true?" she asks with concern
"hell yeah it's true" i say laughing
"ahh so unsurprisingly, this isn't the first time this has happened in our school" she begins
"there is two options, you can stay in school until your about 6-7 months pregnant or you can be homeschooled the rest of the year and next year" she tells us
"why can't i just drop out?" i ask
"because we have a rule about when you can drop out" she tells me
"well according to the law, you have to be at least 16 to drop out and me and luke are both 17. why can we drop out? i ask
"oh the um, the law?" she says nervously
"yep" i say popping the p
"well in that cause uhhh, have a great rest of your lives" she tells us
as we're walking about i remember the one thing i've always wanted to do
"bye bitch!" i yell at her while flipping her off
as me and luke are clearing out our lockers carrie comes up to us
"what are you guys doing?" carrie asks
"we dropped out! never have to come to this hellhole ever again" i tell her
"what how? i want to drop out?" she says
"become pregnant, that's how i was able to drop out" i say
"but i'm lesbian" she tells me
"not my problem" i say
as i'm leaving i scream at the top of my lungs hoping that everyone can hear me and i tell them that they should all go to hell. some student yelled back saying i'd seem them there but i ignored it
me and luke made our escape by first, taking all the money from our bank accounts and then we left california
we eventually made it to Utah
i know that isn't very far i couldn't be in a car driving across the country so we went the closest farthest place we could think of
we bought an apartment since we can't buy a house till we're 18
which is in about 6 months for me and about 8 months for luke
months later they're baby was born
most kids in school would say that they are not suited out to be parents but that's not the truth
julie and luke's parents both being assholes really showed julie and luke how not to parent
ella may patterson was born on october 7th, 2021
about a year later, after they turn 18 they buy a house with the money they saved up
then it happened
the one thing that both julie and luke feared happening happened
their parents found them
"what are you doing here?" luke screams
"we've been looking for you for over a year don't you think we have the right to see our children?" rose said
"no you have no right showing up to my house" julie yells back
"well i'm sorry we just wanted to see how your doing?" emily says looking back and fourth at julie and luke
"sure you do" luke yells at his mom
"so i'd love to continue this conversation but we have somewhere to be so please leave my home" julie says
"no i drove all the way here i'm going to talk to my kids" rose said
"well we have to go pick up OUR kid so leave before i call the police"
"how about you go pick up your child and we can all go home and you two can finish school? we can take care of your child since you clearly aren't ready" ray tells julie and luke
"no this is why i left. you don't care about me. do you even know what i'm interested in?" julie asks
"your into teaching and becoming a teacher" rose replies
"yeah when i was like, five" julie argues
"now please get off my property before i call the police" julie yells
magical time jump
it's been 4 years since that day
julie and luke got married a year after that
and since then they have has two more kids
troubled lives can turn into great ones
also both julie and luke's parents were arrested for child abuse and neglect
so yay happy ending
