"Pull over in the gas station parking lot, we're going to have a talk," Eren mocked Levi under his breath, thankful that the loud hum of the motorcycles drowned out his words. He'd done something stupid, he'll admit it to himself, but if the Captain wanted to check him on it, he'd say he did nothing wrong. He acted on impulse and sure, he regretted it immediately after doing so, but the killer silence that washed over the group when all the bikes were cut off was a painful reminder of that.

"Somebody better get to explaining in the next two seconds," Levi broke the silence, fingers gripping the handlebar so tightly his knuckles had turned white, "I swear I'll put all of you on a t-shirt." His words were laced with anger and bitterness, rightfully so, too. He'd been woken up by an aggressive ringing and buzzing coming from his phone. The caller ID read Armin, and Levi knew when Armin called him instead of Erwin, it was an emergency.

When he'd answered, he didn't expect Armin to explain to him that Eren had drug them into rival territory and they desperately need his help de-escalating things before it ended up in gun-fire. Unfortunately, it ended in a physical fight between Eldians and Marleyans.

Jean tapped his free foot against the pavement, face lit-up by the LED signs that read the gas station's name, "Your golden boy over here," he pointed at Eren, "was fucking with the Marleyans again, thought he could go onto their territory and start demanding that he saw that girl again. Almost got us all shot."

Levi's brows furrowed, glancing at Eren. "Is that true?" He asked him.

Of course the girl he'd been talking about was one who came from the rival gang, and if that wasn't a big enough red flag, she belonged to the Braun clan. As if other Eldians telling him that him dating her was stupid and that this was the same thing that happened to his very own father, he even had his closest friends tellin him that it was a dumb idea. Things only had gotten worse when they broke up, she'd done nothing but lie about Eren to her brother.

Since Eren was ignorant, he continued to see her until one day, she turned on him unexpectedly. Of course Eren didn't take it lightly, he began arguing and yelling with the Eldian logo on his back, instantly making him a target when people began realizing who he was yelling at. This only made tensions high between the Marleyans and Eldians, the two already sworn enemies finally having a reason to attack each other on sight.

"I didn't tell them to follow me, and I wasn't trying to mess with her again. She texted me and told me her brother wanted to fight... So I went to take care of it." He shrugged, lips turning into a deep frown.

"Yeah, except you didn't, dumbass. You almost got us all killed. I don't know who you thought you were about to fight, you know Reiner is a big dude. That's why you gotta fat lip and a black eye now," Connie piped in.

Eren rolled his eyes, putting his foot back onto the gas pedal. "He's not that big. I could've taken him if you dickheads didn't show up-"

"That's enough, I don't want to hear anything from any of you." Levi cut off everyone, turning back to the handlebars on his bike, "We're going home. You can explain to Erwin why you're coming home so late." Levi turned on his bike, immediately riding away from the four, expecting them to follow after.

Again, Eren knew that he was in the wrong, he truly did. Still, he believed his actions were justified. Reiner wanted to fight, that's what he was going to his block for, he didn't expect him to have a group of guys behind him. When Reiner said he wanted to fight, he'd expected just Reiner, not Reiner and his posse.

Of course he should've known better, he should've expected it. 'When has a Marleyan ever stayed true to his word?' Eren thought, his grip getting tighter and tighter on the handlebars.

He couldn't do anything now, but Reiner better know, Eren was definitely not finished.
